About the property

We have reduced our nightly rate to make our accommodation even more attractive!

We have also carried out several improvements including recently adding an extra bedroom so that the whole family can stay now that we offer 2 bedrooms.

We are continuing to ensure our guests are well catered for by adding no cost extras- A new Queen Size Bed replaces the old one in the main bedroom ( June 2018) We now have FOXTEL at no additional cost for your added enjoyment so that you can now enjoy sports, movies, local and international tv and news plus so much more!

The 4 burner gas bbq has been replaced and is free for you to use, we now provide a porta cot and high chair.

The guests driveway for parking has now also been bricked paved and lit at night..

The 2nd bedroom is semi separate from the main bedroom although still part of the main home with access to this room from the rear and also via the entrance and garage. It contains two single beds a table and 2 chairs, heater and ceiling fan. Young children may require some adult supervision because it is a little away from the main bedroom, however children are most welcome and we are happy to move mattresses into the lounge room if you prefer.

Although we would love for you to stay longer you can now choose to stay for just the one night if that is all you need or several weeks if required

Fresh modern and what a great location whether it be for your short holiday, maybe a weekend or mid week getaway, visiting family and friends locally, needing a little more space for business stays or perhaps you need a longer term stay which is available at reduced rates - you won't be disappointed with the locality, value and space!

Located at the quiet northern end of the Esplanade with direct across the road access to this fabulous beach

With the recent passing of our old dog we are now dog and pet free making the accommodation more comfortable for guests whom are not so keen on dogs.

Modern full size kitchen/dine with dishwasher, separate formal lounge room enjoying the sea vistas, double bedroom with queen size bed, a large 2nd bedroom with two single beds , modern bathroom and your own separate laundry. Two split system reverse cycle air conditioners, one in the lounge room with the other in the main bedroom. Heater and ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom.

Spacious private and fully furnished with everything you may need.

Use of the full size fenced rear yard and front paved patio which enjoys the sea views

This fully self contained unit occupies the downstairs portion and the owners live upstairs. You will enjoy privacy, no shared facilities and free to enjoy swimming fishing cycling or just lazy walks along the beach

Included at no additional cost is all bed linen pillows and towels,full kitchen facilities including plates, glasses, cutlery pots pans, big family size fridge and freezer, laundry detergent ,clothes line, all with our compliments.

One minute walk to local Ripple and Swirle Cafe on the Esplanade ( great for coffee, breakfast and lunch) with the Christies Beach Hotel just a 5 minute walk away and Beach Road facilities restaurants and cafes about a 10 minute walk.

Talk a leisurely walk or just a short drive to adjacent Port Noarlunga where you will find the hotel and several cafes/restaurants and of course the Port Noarlunga Jetty

The wineries and restaurants of McLaren Vale and Willunga are an easy 15-20 minute drive away

Self check in now available by prior arrangement with keys in the lock box located on the front door or alternatively the owner is happy to hand over the keys and show you around personally.

About Brady Dabinet

We bought the home here because of the incredible seaside location being right across from this beautiful beach and quietly located at the northern end of Christies Beach where there is mostly only local traffic passing bye.

Downstairs was also surplus to us so in 2015 we fully renovated it and decided to have it as rental accommodation so others can enjoy the location as mush as we do

Beautiful Position-Modern-Spotless Superb!

Highly recommend for one night or one month- or longer! Fully self contained with everything you need , right across the road from a fantastic sandy beach, 1 minute walk to a great local cafe for coffee, breakfast or lunch also on the Esplanade and near lots of great restaurants with McLaren Vale wineries only a 20 minute drive away.

Noisy

Great location but with problems. The ceiling/floor is not sound proofed and you can hear every footstep from upstairs. The external second bedroom is not suitable for families or friends.

Owner's Response: It was a rarity that we had family stay for the weekend.Normally there is only the two of us upstairs.Nevertheless I feel your comments were unfairly harsh and very disappointing. The second bedroom is perfect for privacy and is no more than 8 steps from the main accommodation anyway and under the same roof! No comments were made by you to us and you choose to give unreasonable public comments. I ask others whom are looking at staying to look at our other reviews and not those made by these individuals

Stay was spoilt as we could hear every noise that came from upstairs, including being woken up at 1:30am one night by owners dog, no noise privacy, had to park on river pebbles out in the elements right next to sealed driveway and dble garage!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your positive feedback on location and cleanliness, yes everyone loves the location, value and presentation offered with our apartment. We were taken back with your comments in relation to noise and driveway We have two separate driveways one for our own useage and the other for guests which is partly concreted and partly compacted river stones. Therefore off street parking close to the front door is provided for our guests whom have all been happy with this. Only myself and my partner live upstairs with our 14 year old dog which hardly makes a sound ( she hasn't even barked once for over the past 5 years!) Only a portion of upstairs is common with the downstairs accommodation and we are conscience when guests stay downstairs in ensuring that any sounds from upstairs are kept to a minimum - no one else has ever had a problem with this and I did have a short conversation with Nicholas during his stay and he did not make any negative comments to me personally. Our accommodation is much more private and quieter than a hotel/motel or multi apartment accommodation, is much larger, self contained, private, modern and probably a lot cheaper! I urge future guests not to be put off with the comments made by Nicholas and make their own judgement and take more notice of all of the other favourable reviews we have received
