About this property

Recently renovated | air-con | family-friendly | less than 2km from Hastings St

After 8 years of happily hosting hundreds of holiday makers ‘The Queenslander’ is back after a year-long extension/high-end renovation project. Stripped back to bare studs and completely rebuilt, no stone has been left unturned in the design and quality fit out of this home’s stylish transformation.

With a world-wide recognised Queenslander-style architectural design, ‘The Queenslander’ holiday home will tick all the boxes for an unforgettable Noosa family holiday. Adults will enjoy relaxing on the balcony set amongst a canopy of palms that overlooks the heated pool, fire pit area and tropical gardens, whilst children play with toys and dress ups in the upstairs ‘bunks room’ or kick back in bean bags watching movies in the downstairs lounge room.

The perfect accommodation option for one family or two, this double storey, four bedroom, two and a half bathroom, light filled and breezy Noosa Heads holiday home comfortably sleeps up to nine guests across its four bedrooms.

When entering via the home’s front stairs, guests are greeted by an undercover verandah which wraps around the large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. With a nod to the home’s original construction, this space, the heart of the home, is set beneath exposed hardwood timber truss roofing which has been restored to provide a 5-metre-high cathedral style ceiling space. Designed to promote natural light and capture cooling cross breezes via three remote control operated skylight windows (with flyscreens and sun shades), the dark timber trusses are softened by a jungle of climbing greenery, white kitchen cabinetry and blonde feature-grade Blackbutt hardwood timber flooring.

For those who love to cook, the fully equipped kitchen with large natural stone island bench features a five burner Bosch induction cooktop, 900mm Bosch pyrolytic oven, integrated Bosch dishwasher, LG French double door refrigerator, Nespresso pod-style coffee machine and a host of other appliances including a Zazen alkaline mineral water filter. A five burner Weber BBQ is available just outside on the verandah and guests have various dining options including the round indoor dining table for six, the island bench’s four bar stools or the square table for four on the verandah. Not interested in cooking during your stay? No problem! The Queenslander is just a few minutes’ walk through a rainforest from Noosa Junction’s dozens of restaurants, bars and coffee shops, less than 2km from iconic Hastings Street (Noosa main) beach and less than a 5 minute drive to Noosaville (the Noosa River) which is abundant with dining options.

With double French doors that open to the balcony overlooking the pool and fire-pit area, the air-conditioned master bedroom features a comfy queen size bed, Netflix enabled Smart TV and a built in robe. The master bedroom’s second set of double French doors lead to the luxurious sunken ensuite complete with free-standing Victoria + Albert limestone bath, custom-made wall hung hardwood timber vanity with dual Turkish silver travertine natural stone basins, large frameless shower with both waterfall and wall mounted outlets, Italian concrete tiles, brushed rose-gold tapware and two banks of louvre windows fitted with crimsafe screens to promote cooling cross breezes.

Ideal for up to three children, the ‘bunks room’ is equipped with a sturdy timber bunk bed plus a mattress below and built in robe and is set up with a selection of books, toys, dress ups and bean bags to keep your little ones amused. A wall mounted fan and a window fitted with a crimsafe screen ensures the room remains cool during the warmer months.

With louvre windows fitted with crimsafe screens plus split system air-conditioning and ceiling fans, the spacious downstairs lounge room is the ideal spot to relax after a tiring day at the beach. Featuring artwork by acclaimed Melbourne concert poster and pop culture artists Ken Taylor and Rhys Cooper, this room is equipped with a large L-shape leather couch, bean bags, a Netflix enabled Smart TV and a selection of books and board games that will appeal to adults and children alike.

Bedrooms two and three (downstairs) both boast double French doors that open to a shaded paved courtyard and feature comfy queen beds, ceiling fans, windows fitted with crimsafe screens and built in robes.

The second bathroom (downstairs) features a frameless walk-in shower, custom-made wall hung hardwood timber vanity with Turkish silver travertine natural stone basin, Italian concrete tiles and brushed rose-gold tapware. The toilet is separate to the bathroom, accessed via the laundry which is equipped with an 8.5kg LG washing machine, 7kg LG dryer and double hung sashless glass door fitted with crimsafe screen which leads to the home’s organic herb garden.

Centrally located in a quiet residential area of Noosa heads, The Queenslander is just a few minutes’ walk (approx. 600m) through a rainforest from Noosa Junction’s bars, eateries, live music, coffee shops, boutiques, laneways, night markets and street art, less than 2km from iconic Hastings St and famous Noosa main beach, approximately 2km from Sunshine Beach and less than a 5 minute drive from Noosaville/the Noosa River with its many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, Yacht Club and the always popular Pirate Playground and BBQ area.

Whilst this home has undergone a complete transformation in its appearance, its core values have not changed; The Queenslander maintains its family-friendly focus and we are delighted to once again share this stunningly renovated home with Noosa holiday makers!

In the true sense of the sharing economy, The Queenslander is now an owner-occupied home that is being offered exclusively to guests for limited periods throughout the year. A 7 night minimum stay applies to all bookings. If the dates you are interested in are not available please contact us as we may be able to create an opening for your family’s holiday.

Perfect Noosa Holiday
We booked this wonderful home back in 2019 and finally made it to Noosa after the ups and downs of the last few years. Lauren is above and beyond as a manager, not only holding onto our booking but also communicating with us throughout. The house was perfect for our family, including our dog who loved snoozing on the verandah. It's in a quiet neighbourhood, located a few minutes walk to the shops.Such a nice change to apartment living as you have more space and freedom to relax. The pool was an added bonus for cooling down too. We were blessed to have this time as a family and honoured to be the last guests before the house is renovated. We will be returning and would definitely recommend Lauren as an accommodation manager.

Dog friendly stay
We stayed with our dogs and found the property to be extremely dog friendly due to the high fencing, seperate driveway (to main yard) and lockable veranda. The location is excellent - very short walk to Noosa Junction and medium walk to Hastings Street. We particularly enjoyed the lovely pool and verandas during our summer stay given there is no a/c. Lauren (property manager) was very helpful both before and during our stay.

Excellent stay in Noosa
This was a lovely house to stay in and very central to everything. The house was clean and presented beautifully and the veranda is a lovely place to sit out. The pool was also a delight and the house being pet friendly was a bonus for our old golden retriever. The host Lauren was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely return for a visit.

Hi, I’m Lauren, owner and manager of The Queenslander and Director of ellecor Holiday Home Management. I'm a licensed real estate agent with more than 10 years' industry experience, 7 of these specialising in holiday home management on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

I left my real estate job to establish ellecor in 2015 soon after my husband and I purchased ‘The Queenslander’ holiday home as I was unhappy with the service offerings of local agents. Prior to a career in real estate I worked in both the tourism and customer service industries and I have a double degree in Tourism and Business Management.

ellecor Holiday Home Management is a boutique business specialising in professional short-term property management since 2015. We deliberately manage only a small number of properties and we manage them like they're our own. We take great pride in ensuring our homes are maintained and presented to the highest standard and always go the extra mile to ensure a seamless and hassle free stay for every single one of our guests.
I communicate with all of our guests personally and both myself and my team take great pride in providing prompt, personalised and professional customer service. We're always happy to help with any queries our guests may have before, during or after their ellecor getaway!

My passion for travel has taken me all around the world and I love that on a daily basis I am able to make other people’s travel dreams become a reality!

Why they chose this property

Located in a quiet residential area less than 2km from the iconic Hastings St and famous Noosa main beach and only a few minutes’ walk from Noosa Junction, The Queenslander will tick all of the boxes for an unforgettable family holiday in Noosa!

'The Queenslander' conveys the charisma associated with the world-wide recognized Queensland architectural signature. Light filled living, indoor and outdoor dining and entertaining areas receive cooling cross breezes.

Nestled behind Noosa Junction, we love that our holiday home is close to Noosa's 3 waterways; Hastings St main beach, Sunshine Beach surf beach and Noosaville/Noosa River. Less than 1km from our home is Noosa Junction's restaurant/bar and shopping precinct, cinemas, bus terminal and supermarkets. A 15-20 min walk/2 minute drive down Noosa Drive's hill is Hastings St main beach, or a 5 min drive in the opposite direction is Noosaville - Noosa River, restaurant, shops, the Yacht Club and Pirate Playground.

What makes this property unique

After a year-long extension/high-end renovation project, no stone has been left unturned in the design and quality fit out of The Queenslander’s transformation. Located in a quiet pocket of Noosa Heads just 600m from Noosa Junction and less than 2km from iconic Hastings Street and Noosa main beach, The Queenslander is the perfect accommodation option for one family or two comfortably sleeping up to nine guests across its four bedrooms. Whilst its appearance may have changed, The Queenslander will still tick all the boxes for a Noosa holiday your family will never forget! Adults will enjoy relaxing on the balcony set amongst a canopy of palms that overlooks the solar heated, salt chlorinated pool, fire pit area and tropical gardens, whilst children play with toys and dress ups in the upstairs ‘bunks room’ or kick back in bean bags watching movies in the downstairs lounge room.

Since welcoming its first guests in 2014, The Queenslander has always provided a comprehensive family-friendly approach to make travel a breeze for guests with children, this has not changed post-renovation. Sure to keep children of all ages amused, The Queenslander offers three Netflix enabled Smart TV’s, a selection of board games, books, children’s toys and dress ups, pool toys, body boards, buckets and spades plus a beach trolley to assist in the easy transportation of the essentials to and from the beach. The owners also provide a porta cot, high chair, baby monitor and plastic dinnerware for guest use at no extra cost.

Noosa Council Short Stay Letting Local Law approved holiday home. All Noosa guests must abide by Noosa Council’s Code of conduct for guest behaviour.

Please note: When booking with ellecor VRBO/Stayz's traveller service fee is incorporated into our nightly rate (as we are a business), it is not added as an extra as you would see if you booked with an individual owner/manager so on first glance our nightly rates may appear slightly higher than other similar properties.
