Abella is a large, stylish, well maintained property comprising of 4 bedroom home with 2 separate lounge areas (both with TV's), 2 bathrooms/toilets, in charismatic Croydon located on the Adelaide fringe. It's a mere ten minute walk to eclectic Queen Street and just as close to the train stations that will see you arrive in the centre of Adelaide in 10 minutes. 3 train stops to Adelaide Oval.

With light and airy living areas, it is perfect for groups/families wanting private space and room to move. The kitchen has the modern conveniences including dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven. There is also a small laundry with front loading washing machine.

If you are driving, there is undercover/secure car parking for two vehicles with additional off street parking for another one or two vehicles

Bedroom configurations include

Bedroom 1 - 1 x king bed with own en-suite and built in wardrobes. (bed can be split into 2 x single beds)

Bedroom 2 - 1 x king bed with own private courtyard (bed can be split into 2 x single beds)

Bedroom 3 - 1 x queen bed with built in wardrobes.

Bedroom 4 - single bunk beds with built in wardrobes

All linen and towels are supplied.

The open living area has French doors that lead to an outdoor entertaining area with barbecue and eight seater outdoor setting.

About Danka and Alex

My husband, Alex and I, are both keen golfers and music lovers with eclectic taste.

We are both well travelled and respectful of different cultures and appreciative of the hospitality we have received from all the wonderful people we have met on our travels. We've been fortunate to live in other countries and states of Australia, but Adelaide is always home.

So, we decided to host to give other travellers an opportunity to stay in safe, stylish, large and well located abodes from which to explore the wonderful city of Adelaide and surrounds.

I am grateful to be doing something I love and to see like minded people enjoy our homes and city.

Plenty of space!

Loved our stay, was perfect for our family of 5! It was made all the more enjoyable because there was enough bedrooms for everyone and 2 living areas, plus an outdoor area- lots of place for the kids to play! Great location too! Great communication from the hosts.

Beautiful house, perfectly located

Upon walking in to the property, it's immediately apparent that the owners take a lot of pride in the house, and justifiably so. It has been very well rennovated and has all the conveniences you could hope for. Its location is fantastic - close to the city with excellent transport connections, but in a quiet residential area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended!

Owner's Response: We are a pet friendly property as we love animals and james and kristy were ever so respectful of keeping the home as they found it. I could not fault them on cleanliness, communication and just being lovely human beings. Pets are important and so is the care of wonderful guests. Highly recommend.

Outstanding house in prime location!

This was the perfect house for a group of girls down for a girls trip! Pete went out of his way to accomodate us in every aspect and can’t speak highly enough for both his hospitality and the overall set up of the house. The house was so much bigger than we had expected and everything was A+ standard. It was in the perfect location super close to the city and also had an outdoor area to entertain making it the perfect house for a group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying!

Perfect home away from home

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. After staying only a couple of days last year, we enjoyed the house and its location so much that we decided to book for over a week and have a little vacation this year during our annual Royal Adelaide Show pilgrimage. I highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay for longer periods of time or in bigger groups. The house has different living areas and a relaxing outdoor area with BBQ so you always feel like you have ample space. The house is clean and extremely well appointed. Its location is quiet yet close to shopping centres, cute cafes and the city centre with its beautiful market is only an easy 10 minute drive away. Danka is always so helpful if anything is needed (although we have never encountered a problem) and this is easily the nicest Stayz property we have stayed in over the years. See you again next year!

Perfect place to stay

Abella was the perfect place to stay for our party of 6. Our host Danka was super-helpful and sent through lots of info before we got there, and was in close touch during our stay. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds are super comfy- very impressive for a short term rental- and we all slept extremely well. The location was great and a short Uber trip ride to the Entertainment Centre, with plenty of space for our massive rental car. We would definitely recommend it and would stay again!
