Centrally located and within walking distance of everything in Lorne …. beach, pier, restaurants, boutiques, trampoline park and shops.

500m from the visitors’ centre on the Great Ocean Road.

Perfect in all seasons for a group of friends or work colleagues and, particularly suitable for a two couple and kids combination.


Situated on the hill amongst the eucalypts so while you enjoy the ocean view you also enjoy relaxing green surrounds.

Large outdoor areas – green sloping garden in front and parking for up to 5 cars at back. Easy access with no stairs into the house and the ability to park within metres of the front door.

The house is set out on two levels separated by only 5 stairs.

The lower living level is lined with glass windows looking out to the ocean. This level is an open plan living space with a well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge, oven, stove, Nespresso machine, slow cooker, rice maker and more), dining table for 8 plus 4 bar stools at the breakfast counter, fireplace, large leather sofas offering lots of seating, blue tooth speaker and 42” SMART TV.

There’s a selection of board games, jigsaws, books, magazines, CDs and DVDs for your entertainment. Split system heating/aircon and an overhead fan keep this area comfortable.

The deck leads off the living area. This space is furnished with seating, sun loungers, outdoor dining and a large gas BBQ. There’s also an outdoor shower (hot and cold) to wash away the beach sand.

On the bedroom level there are 4 bedrooms, 2 separate toilets, a shower room, a full bathroom with shower over bath and a laundry with washing machine, dryer and large basin.

All bedrooms have overhead fans and electric heaters.

Bedroom One: King bed with TV/ DVD combo.

Bedroom Two: 2 single beds

Bedroom Three: 1 single bed and 1 bunkbed

The bunkbed does not have a security bar and therefore isn't suitable for a small child.

Bedroom Four: Queen bed

Sleeping on sofas is not permitted.

Extras provided:

For kids – camp cots, non-slip bath mats, high chair, plastic kids eatware, toys, games and security gate.

For the beach - beach umbrella, 2 body/boogie boards

General - tea, basic cooking provisions, toilet paper, bath/shower gel, hairdryer and cleaning detergents.

To keep the house affordable the price quoted includes -the beds and linen for 9 people sleeping in 7 beds (two of the beds sleep two people) as detailed above plus, hand towels, kitchen towels and bath mats.

Optional extras:

Early check-in and late check out –happy to oblige if possible, please ask.

2 extra fold out beds (wide comfy singles) and a further 2 singles mattresses plus linen can be provided for an additional cost during your stay. This brings bed count up to 11, sleeping 13 people.

Bath towels can be provided for a nominal cost – please ask.

One night stays are accepted and incur a surcharge. Please ask.

Lorne is a perfect location for enjoying nature and the great and craft (Qdos gallery), mountain biking, bushwalking, cycling, fishing, beach, exercising, golfing, photography, relaxing, shopping, sightseeing, surfing, tennis, walking, swimming, running, lazing or coffee-ing.

There is the lush Otways national park, waterfalls, walking trails, lookouts and of course the wonderful beach and pier. Lorne is also well known for its endurance and sporting events including the Pier to Pub Swim, Mountain to Surf Run, adventure events, cycle challenges and the Great Ocean Road marathon.

There is also a golf course and bowls club.

Lorne to Wye River is a popular morning cycle route with coffee at the Wye General Store being your halfway reward. And if you wish to see koalas and parakeets, Kennett River is a short drive and offers close encounters with these for you.

Beautiful place to stay for a big group

We had a group of 9 (originally 13 but one family didn't come last minute) and we all stayed comfortably. Big house with beautiful view, comfortable beds and had almost everything we needed. Conveniently located, walkable distance to the shops. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends if they do the Great Ocean Drive. Thanks Belinda.

Gorgeous warm house with a fabulous outlook

Ideally positioned in a quiet pocket of Lorne and only a short walk into town. It was lovely to have sweeping sea views from inside and out. The house was well equipped and beautifully appointed, very warm and inviting. We had a fantastic weekend and will be booking again.

Perfect house for stay in Lorne

I highly recommend this house for a stay in Lorne as it was perfect for our group! The house is in great shape, clean, bright, warm (it has a fire place for cooler days:) lovely interior design with a soul, feels like home, great view, great location, fully equiped with anything you can think off, lovely beddings:) and lots of fun assured with a pool table, movies, games:)

The house is suitable for a family or bunch of friends:) I am sure you will enjoy it and we will definitely be back:)
