Lovely comfortable house in fab location!

  • 5 of 5

This is a spacious and comfortable property that we felt right at home in for three weeks at the start of our relocation to Melbourne. The property has everything you need, was clean and the furniture was comfortable. It's location in the lovely suburb of Hampton meant we were within easy walking distance to lovely shops, cafes, restaurants and most importantly, the beach! I would not hesitate to recommend to others requiring a nice holiday or short term let.

Lovely property

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed in this lovely home for about 6 weeks. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The owners went out of their way to make their property work for my family of 4, including renovations to accommodate my son who is in a wheelchair. Highly recommend this holiday property.

A fantastic option for families

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the Bayside Fabulous House for almost 7 weeks during May/June while we were between houses. It was perfect for us - plenty of room for a large family (we have 3 children) and we were allowed to bring our cat who enjoyed the garden. The house is welcoming and cosy - the heating works well and the gas fire is an added bonus on a chilly Melbourne night. The best thing about our stay was our dealing with the owners Murray and Pam who couldn't have been more friendly, courteous and helpful. They even allowed us to use their garage as additional storage space which was greatly appreciated. Would have no hesitation in returning or recommending to local friends or overseas visitors.

Great place, accommodating owners

  • 5 of 5

We felt right at home during our 5 week stay in the Hampton House. The house had been freshly painted and furnished, so although an older style house, everything is very clean, new and comfortable and the furntiture is modern. The house included everything we needed, including a welcome pack of tea and coffee and basic sauces/spices that you may need for cooking over a longer stay and we were told that if there was anything missing that we needed we could suggest it. We have a dog and kids so the large garden was a bonus and the house is furnished with a lovely outdoor table and chairs for entertaining. The bus is right outside, the train and shops are walking distance. I would recommend this to anyone needing short term accommodation while visiting family, relocating to Melbourne, renovators who need to move out for a while etc. Its a place that can definitely feel like home over a 5 week stay.
