Sleeps 6 comfortably (rollaway bed available for extra guest, additional charge applies) . There is plenty of space to spread out throughout the home across both levels .. You will find yourselves spending most of your time relaxing on the back deck overlooking the tropical gardens.. Free wifi services the home and 5kilometres South of Brisbane City . 8 minutes to UQ St Lucia by the Green bridge Bus route. Perfect base for families who have children in boarding schools in Brisbane.

Turn of the century traditional Queenslander architecture, original workers cottage, beautifully renovated, faces north with full views of the Brisbane city skyline. Walk 500 metres to the Greenslopes Busway which takes you into the Brisbane City, via Southbank parklands, Gallery of Modern Arts, Science Centre, Brisbane Museum, all in less than 10 minutes. Across the road from the property, 20 metres walk is the 172 and173 bus route that also takes you into the Brisbane City in under 10minutes. For visitors to Brisbane its best to purchase a GOCARD from news agencies as bus transport is 30% cheaper with a GOCARD.

Large air-conditioned kitchen, dining, and lounge family area. Bifold doors and large awning windows off the lounge through to the deck area make this home beautifully cool, bright and airy through the seasons. Winter is warm with the lovely warm sun shining through the lounge in the morning. In summer, open up the bifold windows and doors and let the northerly winds flow through the home.

The kitchen and rear deck of this house are its true feature, with large double hung windows which lift up allowing the master chef to serve all meals across the timber servery out onto the large enclosed back deck where the family can sit around a large timber outdoor table. This home allows you to enjoy what Queensland is famous for its weather, beautiful one day perfect the next.

Lovely home with easy access to the city

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 nights at Grandview Greenslopes. The house was beautifully decorated, fully equipped and felt like a home away from home for our family. Great views to Brisbane's skyline from the balcony and a short 5 minute drive to Southbank and the CBD. Close to amenities, supermarkets, cafes, bus routes and recreational areas.

Worst experience of my life

We only chose this place because of the great reviews we had read about the place and the owner. However, the reviews were not accurate portrayals of the place or the owner, Kelly. The pictures put here are very misleading and not at all like the actual place. We have stayed in this property for 8 nights and below are some of the things we were very unhappy with: utensils were very worn out, dirty & overused - they basically needed to be thrown out

2.things out of order: clock not working, drawers messy, cupboards had rubbish (used thermos without lid, used theme park wristbands kept in there, creams/lotions expired 4 years ago) - not sure what the $80 cleaning fee is for!

3.doors leading to alfresco and also kitchen windows had no curtains/blinds (neighbours were looking at us eating and watching tv - felt very uncomfortable and privacy was invaded) water ran out very quickly wardrobes in bedrooms 1 & 2 outdoor clothesline

7.unnecessary stuff left in the alfresco (gas cylinder but no bbq?) welcome letter or instructions (had to wait hours for a reply for wifi password)

9.owner Kelly very unreliable when replying to messages or answering calls - took even a whole day to reply

10.cockroaches found in house

Not only did our holiday experience get ruined but after we returned from our holiday, the owner was not giving our $500 security bond claiming we broke the bathroom blinds. Blatantly accused us with no proof whatsoever and even after the blind was fixed she was not giving our money back until we threatened to take her to court. So many things were broken on the property (loose screws on dining chairs, alfresco door hinges missing etc.) beware you might be blamed for this! Save yourself the headache and drama from this lady and do not stay in this property!! It seems like the good reviews were probably all written by her because I cannot imagine anyone would leave this property with a good experience.

Great property

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was a great clean, tidy and homely property. Very well equipped for a self contained stay. Owner was very obliging and great to deal with. Close to wonderful cafes and surrounding areas. Great park just down the road. Will definitely stay again.

Great property

We had a lovely stay here. Property is very clean and tidy and owner is very obliging. Close to great coffee shops and a lovely park just down the road.
