This house was finished in spring of 2013. It is a house that you have to see to fully appreciate. There is no other rental property like this in the Chattanooga market. We would love to host you. The house comes with flat-scren TV's in every room with access to premium cable like Showtime, HBO. There is free wireless throughout the house. As residents of Chattanooga for over 25 years, we can give you recommendations on places to eat and see while you are in town.
This is a wonderful house. It is in a great location, there are a lot of things to do and good places to eat. We had a very restful long weekend. This house is very quiet and we were able to accomodate sleeping habits of various kinds without bothering each other. I liked the layout very much along with the views. The pictures and descriptions were accurate but this property was better than described. Every thing was clean and neat. I would recommend this property as a great place to stay.
It's been more than a month since our girls reunion and my friends are still raving about our stay. We couldn't imagine everything promised would be delivered, but it was! My friends (from England, Ohio, Massachusetts, Georgia, Mississippi, and Philadelphia) couldn't believe luxury accommodations could be so affordable. The view is to die for from the top floor gathering room or the deck. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and my friends loved the private bathrooms---each room and bath unique. Kitchens on the first floor and the top floor with bar, fireplace--yes, ice maker---everything you need. Great parking in case you have local friends you want to invite for an evening. Our week was heaven--great location for exploring the city on foot or by car, and planning for it was a breeze. Alice is very prompt and user-friendly. If you love the pictures and love the descriptions, just know, that's what you get! That doesn't always happen but we were very pleasantly surprised.
We loved our stay in Chattanooga. I was excited, and I LIVE HERE!
Our family had 12 at this wonderful rental unit (6 adults and 6 children). We stayed 3 nights, and did Ruby Falls, the Aquarium, the Incline and Rock City, all first time for the grandkids. It was very nice to come "home" to the unit after being out all day, and all have plenty of space, bathrooms and bedrooms to be comfortable. There is a residential elevator that comes in quite handy, as our living and eating space together was always the top floor, with impressive views of the city, river, pedestrian bridge, Aquarium and more. This is a standalone unit (house) that has its own parking lot (can hold many cars) and dumpster. There is not any noise from surrounding spaces. This house is situated at the top of a hill, so the views are quite amazing, from either inside the well air-conditioned (fireplace in winter) living area, or the attached outside patio area on the third floor. We watched fireworks and an amazing lightning storm, plus people walking on the bridge in good weather. Bedrooms were spacious (modern bathrooms for each) and the beds were comfortable. Oh, did I mention quiet? The kitchen was well furnished, and the service ware above average and unique. There is even an built-in icemaker on floor three in the kitchen. We would rent this unit on our next trip to Chattanooga, and highly recommend it for small or large families - it's definitely worth the price! Many thanks to Alice, as she was always prompt and courteous in our pre-visit exchanges. We hope you enjoy!
I want to thank you for the House & set-up at Forest Ave. Our entire Family thoroughly enjoyed the stay; only wished it were longer. The view is spectacular and the accommodations perfect.
Our family stayed here during our daughter's wedding and it was the perfect home base for everyone in the wedding. It was very accessible to the rest of the city and super easy to walk down to the park with the kids. We had enough room to give space to the kids and for the adults, the elevator was a huge help with some of our family members and we loved the upstairs room - not only for the amazing view of downtown but to have all the family in one place. This was definitely the perfect house for our family to make memories during the wedding!
We are from Chattanooga and really wanted to" show off" our city to our daughter's bridal party since they were from all over the country. The view of our entire downtown river front and bridges is amazing! And the fact you can walk down the hill and go to breakfast/lunch and /or hit the bars! Stroll right across the walking bridge and you are at the aquarium etc. We will be doing this again and again!
We stayed here at the end of May for a family wedding. We tried to pick a spot that was within walking location to the reception and this was but, we did drive and used Uber to get around. We had 10 adults and everyone was very comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms (very important when there are so many getting ready to attend a wedding!) Plenty of eating space... kitchen a little difficult to cook for so many due to lack of prep space close to the stove but, we managed! Parking was plentiful, walk to pedestrian bridge was a breeze, close to shops, elevator was handy when you had groceries and luggage to cart upstairs... would love to stay there again! We had someone who was born and raised in Chattanooga come to visit and he couldn't believe the view! Beautiful home, great place to stay!
This house is in the Northshore neighborhood of Chattanooga. Situated across the walking bridge from Downtown Chattanooga, beautifully situated on the Tennessee River just across from the landmark aquarium, the NorthShore is perhaps Chattanooga's most eclectic neighborhood, offering the best in local dining, shopping and living.
Here you'll find boutiques, restaurants, coffeehouses, galleries, salons and day spas. But the places you'll find won't be big box retailers or chain stores. Instead, you'll find independent one-of-a-kind small businesses owned by passionate locals who you'll stand a good chance of meeting! From the perfect party dress to the shoes to match, from handcrafted jewelry to customized cosmetics, from California rolls to bagels and lox, from yoga classes to art supplies, you'll find just what you're seeking in this fun and bustling neighborhood.
You'll also find two historic bridges, early 20th century buildings, a park with a carousel, a park that's eco-friendly, and dance steps on the sidewalks. Charming, sophisticated, friendly, old and new, hip and historical, it's like no other place in the world.
