The Café Strip Cottage was build in the 1920’s and has recently been fully renovatedoffers, the cottage offers character and charm, but also has a wonderful modern feel which is sure to impress all who stay. It features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living room, a separate lounge room, jarrah flooring, high ceilings and reverse cycle air conditioning in all rooms. The kitchen/dining room opens out to a beautifully landscaped entertainment and BBQ area.

There is a washing machine, clothes dryer, free Wi-Fi, Valuable's Safe and Telephone with free local calls. There are two TV's, one in the lounge room and one in the kitchen.

We use high quality Sealy mattresses and 5 star hotel quality mattress protectors to ensure maximum hygiene and comfort

The Café Strip Cottage is located in the heart of the Victoria Park Café Strip district and directly behind "The Park" shopping centre and Coles supermarket, so no need to drive, its only a minutes walk.

Parking: a maximum of 2 vehicles is permitted. (off street parking)

This 1920's renovated character home is located six minutes to Perth City, Crown Casino, Swan River foreshore and situated next to the cafe strip in East Victoria Park. The main shopping centre and supermarket is 200 metres away.

The domestic and international airports are twenty minutes away by vehicle.

The Carlisle Train Station is within walking distance as are various Bus Routes which will take you into the Perth City Bus / Train Depot.

Good location and quality property

This is a quality property in an excellent location if you are looking at this area. It is very close to both the local shopping centre and the cafe/restaurant strip. The owner is a little over the top with his rules and expectations. We would normally treat the property with the respect he expects, and clean up before we vacate, but I didn't like being told we had to sweep the floors and take out the garbage. But overall, a very pleasant stay.

Ideal Property

Beautiful character cottage with a modern touch. Immaculately clean, with 4 ample bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beds were super comfortable. All mod cons available. Only a 2 min walk to shopping centre and café strip, 10 min bus ride to the city. Our host Scott couldn't have been any more helpful with instructions and information. Very easy to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Property in Perth!

We stayed at this property for 8 nights in September. It has 4 spacious bedrooms for 8 adults and close to all the excellent eateries at the Cafe Strip as well as the convenience of "Coles" for groceries shopping. Driving around was a breeze with easy access to city (10 mins) as well as major highways. The house was nicely renovated and the owner just added a new Apple TV and Netflix for movie entertainment. The owners are friendly and helpful with whatever we needed during our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Perth and would certainly stay again when we next visit.

Lovely property

Cottage is lovely renovated and well looked after and maintained ..Scott was lovely to deal with ..He has requests on how to treat the property which we didn't mind at least it helps keep the house in good standard. Beds are comfortable but quite firm ..Great new kitchen has all the kitchen ammenities..only thing needs new kettle and toaster was clean ..nice bedding and towels. Great location..shops are just down the road literally 3 minute walk to shopping centre with Coles plus all cafes and selected other shops on Albany highway ..bus stop was 3 minute walk and took you straight into Perth city only 15 minute bus ride. We were 7 adults and found the cottage to be large enough. Really quiet area never heard any neighbors. Great movie selection on Netflix. Would stay again.

our dream vacation home

We are a family with 4 adults and 3 young children. We had a fantastic stay of 8 nights here. As some reviews mentioned, Scott can be a little "intimidating" with his reminders on ensuring no damage to the property, including the white sofas or wooden flooring :-) However, he is absolutely nice and friendly in person. The condition of the property was excellent - pristine clean, new and spacious. We loved returning to it daily after a day out. Location was excellent too - less than a 10min drive from Perth CBD, about 15mins from airport, and there are eateries and a supermarket just 5 mins walk away. We would love to return if we visit Perth again.
