Absolutely fabulous property to stay in
Maryanne was an excellent host, everything you need is at this property. It is so great that you can have your dog stay as well. Very impressed and I would return again. Thank you
Excellent - Great place to stay.
Very clean and comfortable, great cafe about 300mtrs away. 10-15 mins from Canberra city by car. Owner very friendly, even kept watch on our little dog when weather looked like changing while we were out.
Will definitely stay again if the need arises for us to come to Canberra.
A couple of very small downsiders were lack of grasses area in courtyard for dog, and the location of the showerhead being too close to the shower door, flooding of floor alleviated by turning the shower head toward side wall before turning taps on to hop in.
Other than those 2 very minor issues this place is perfect.
A little gem
We booked into this property for 3 nights but our dog became sick and we ended up staying for 5 nights. It's all here: spotlessly clean, quality appliances, kitchenware and crockery. Lovely comfortable leather sofa, fabulously comfortable bed with beautiful bed linen and programmable electric blanket with twin controls. Lovely new fitted bathroom with big shower. We had our dog with us so the little garden being fully secured with fence and gate was ideal. There's a little decking with table and chairs - a nice place to sit at the end of the day with a glass of wine and nibbles. The location is an easy drive to most places of interest and there is a mini market at the end of the street. The owner is caring and helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for us. The final test is always 'would you go back there?' Yes we would! Highly recommend it.
Highly recommended !!!
Maryanne is a perfect host and very helpful, while still respecting our privacy. She is an animal lover, which is very important if you have a furry family member. Everything was perfect!!!
This magnificent B&B is a gem of a find. The hostess, Maryanne, could not do enough for us with her excellent pre-arrival communication, her welcoming greeting on our arrival with her home-baked aromatic bread, the well stocked fridge for breakfast and the high-quality linen and towels provided. The matching decor of the linen and the kitchen appliances makes this spacious self-contained unit very eye-catching and appealing. The cleanliness is first rate, all our needs were more than catered for and our accompanying dog had a secure garden to run around in.
We would without hesitation highly recommend LyttleCook and this is where we will be staying on any future trips to Canberra .
Thank-you Maryanne does not adequately convey our appreciation to her for making her home 'our home' for our 3 nights stay. LyttleCook is a huge success primarily due to her first-class people skills.
Great location, perfect
The location was perfect for both exploring Canberra itself and surrounding areas. Maryanne was very kind providing us with coffee, bread, vegetables, first morning's breakfast. Her place is kept very clean, is modern and quite comfortable. It allowed for privacy while having easy access to her for questions. Highly recommend her place.
