Relax in this quiet, airy, self-contained, two bedroom privately owned holiday apartment in The Reef Club Resort.

Apartment 60 at The Reef Club Resort is in an excellent location. Just a few minutes walk to the famous Four Mile Beach, and a little further to The Marina and Macrossan St, the heart of Port Douglas, with vibrant cafes, shops, entertainment and fine dining.

But The Reef Club is still far enough away from the town to appreciate the tropical atmosphere and quiet surroundings. The apartment is situated the rear of the building and catches the ocean breeze, the birds and the murmur of the waves at night. And the very quiet top floor means no noisy neighbours above.

There are 2 bedrooms, the main has a queen bed and the second bedroom is configured with two single beds which can be pushed together and made up as a king if required. Up to five guests can be accommodated. Please ask for details of additional rollaway bed, cot and high chair.

The apartment offers a less-expensive choice of holiday and is ideal for families, friends on a budget or simply a couple taking advantage of the low rates for a long-term booking. The kitchen is equipped with a small cooktop, microwave and fridge. The bathroom has a bath as well as a shower. In the landscaped gardens you will find a large covered BBQ area for guest use – a fabulous spot to enjoy the tropical scenery while you BBQ the days catch. The pool and spa are situated nearby set in landscaped gardens with shaded areas from the midday sun. Downstairs you will find a large communal laundry with washing machines, dryers and a laundry tub. All machines take $1.00 coins. Undercover and off-street parking at the resort. Wi-fi mobile modum is available for your use, details and plans on request,

Upon your arrival you will find professionally laundered bed linen. We provide each of our guests with bath and hand towels, face washers, bath mat, pool towels and tea towels. A complimentary bathroom amenities pack and tea, coffee and milk are also provided together with dishwashing liquid, laundry powder and J cloth to start your stay. It is a self-service Apartment so the room is made up on your arrival and you take over from there. A mid stay service can be arranged if required.

As my guest you have access to all the amenities of the Resort. The heated pool & spa, BBQ area in landscaped gardens, communal laundry, undercover or off-street parking.

If you don't feel like the short walk into town, the regular local bus stops right outside the door. Hire cars or bikes are plentiful. Underground and off-street parking at The Resort. And transport to and from the airport couldn't be easier, the local coach company will collect you from the airport or hotel to coincide with your flight.

If you need a larger apartment ,or for groups of 10 people, Apartment 55 (Stayz #197931) is on the same floor at Reef Club and also available for holiday rental. Book them both at discounted rates.

I'm afraid no pets are allowed, and no smoking please. The Resort has a friendly, relaxed, quiet environment suitable for couples, families and friends. Guests are encouraged to respect and enjoy this atmosphere. Definitely no party-people please :-)

Hello and welcome to 55 Reef Club Resort, Port Douglas. I love Port Douglas and I've been holidaying here for 15 years, finally I decided to buy a holiday apartment so that I could visit more often!

Why Monica O'Hare chose Port Douglas

I chose my apartment at The Reef Club for it's location. Just a few minutes walk to the beach (I walk up the beach for my early morning coffee and sometimes stop for Yoga on the way) and a 10 minute stroll into Macrossan Street with it vibrant cafes, shops and nightlife.

Nearby is the Sheraton Golf Course and the Marina for your trip to the Barrier Reef.

My background is interior design and decoration, and I understand what my guests want in a property. You will find the apartment has been recently re-designed with a cool, island vibe.

Fantastic place with large salt water pool for the kids, clean and very private appartment. Owners are friendly and accomodating for families. Its also next to 4 mile beach and close to port douglas township... and 3x air conditioners. We loved it.

Excellent stay

Spotless Apartment in quiet street.

Monica is great to communicate with during the booking process.The apartment looks out on a quiet street and we arrived with it spotless.We stayed for a month and No 60 had everything required for a long stay.It is easy walking distance to the main shopping area and the marina.It also is on the main route for shuttles we used Excellence and a return $8 fare to the golf courses up the main road.Just a phone call and they are at the front door.Lovely pool and reception staff friendly for adventure bookings.This is a great value for money base in Port Douglas,just perfect.Also very comfortable beds and great pressure on shower always important.

Perfect for us

We stayed for 2 weeks at apartment 60 Reef Club Resort and loved every minute of it. When we arrived, the air cons, fans and lights were on. So nice and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. There are wardrobes in both bedrooms, which gave us plenty of space to store our clothes and the other items we brought with us. The swimming pool is heated so it was never too cold to be utilised. We also used the communal barbecue on a couple of occasions, cooked in our kitchenette a few more and discovered many restaurants to our satisfaction. Facilities were good and we were able to get a car space out the back on most occasions. There is also an underground car park with plenty of spaces. You can catch a shuttle into town or the opposite direction, but the place is within a walkable distance to the eateries and shops. The apartment is on t,he 3rd floor with no elevator, but we were certainly fitter by the time we left. Monica communicated well and we met her as she was renovating her new apartment number 55 while we were present. We definitely would recommend staying in Monica's apartment.

Perfect family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was in a great location and in a great resort facility. The main street is only a 15min stroll away, and the beach a 5min stroll as well. The apartment was perfectly sized for our family of five, and we will certainly look to book here on our next holiday to Port Douglas.

Monica was excellent, and had everything well prepared for our stay.
