Perfectly situated above Burns Beach Café is this 2 bedroom beachfront apartment overlooking the magnificent Indian Ocean with its incredible sunsets. Recently renovated it has a fully equipped kitchenette, large dining and living areas, a breakfast bench with unmatched views and 2 bedrooms furnished with a queen bed and two singles. Reverse cycle air conditioning, 42 inch LCD television with Blu Ray/DVD and stereo, wireless internet, comfortable lounges and recliner make this a home away from home. The back deck is also equipped with a hooded BBQ and bar table for the occupants use. Room service is also available from the Café downstairs during trading hours
Position, .... Burns Beach itself is a desirable destination, where cyclists and exercise enthusiasts collide and meet up for a coffee and chat at the iconic Burns Beach Café, as it is the Northern most point of the Indian Ocean cycle path stretching all the way to Fremantle. Although so close to all amenities, this part of the sunset coast still appears to be untouched with its raw natural beauty.
Mindarie Marina and the City of Joondalup are only five minutes drive away. The Swan Valley and its famous wineries, providores and chocolate factories are a thirty minute drive as is the Perth CBD. Public transport is at your doorstep with a bus departing from your doorstep at regular intervals to connect you to the train station.
This property is suited to couples or young families.
We loved out time away from our daily grind and it was refreshing to be by the beach. We ate out, saw a movie & enjoyed walks on the beach. Unfortunately, the accommodation we chose was a disappointment. We didn't receive a contact number before arriving and didn't know how to check in. Lucky we arrived during the cafe hours & were able to gain access.
What we loved:
Proximity to the beach.
Easy access to major shopping centres and food outlets.
Cleanliness.
Clean linen supplied.
What we didn't love:
No Foxtel as advertised.
No Room Service as advertised.
No WI-FI code supplied.
Located in a caravan park (not mentioned).
Cafe below is a dog cafe (great if you have a dog, also not mentioned).
Limited kitchen equipment.
No guest information folder.
Non stop coffee knocker banging from 7am.
Food delivery trucks.
One parking spot under the stairs, but no room to open drivers side door.
Squeaky ceiling fan in main bedroom.
Hot water doesn't work in kitchen.
Shower during cafe hours is either scolding hot or icy cold.
Only a few bits of glassware and crockery in kitchen.
Lovely location with a beautiful view. Owner/café staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
