Stokers Lodge - the Heart of the Byron and Tweed

Bedrooms 1
Space 25 m²
Property type bed & breakfast
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

Quiet rural area, but central for exploring Australia's favorite area.

Have a relaxing luxury break and use Stokers Lodge as your central base to explore this fascinating and beautiful area.

At around 30 minutes to Byron, Gold Coast airport or Nimbin we are centrally located for you to explore. In just 5 minutes you can be at the famous Tweed Regional Gallery and Margaret Olley Art Centre. Or just a short drive and you can be at the base of Mt Warning or North Byron Parklands (15 minutes).

Let us know your interests and we can help you find those hidden spots and events.

Or just relax by the pool, wander the gardens and dabble your toes in the private creek. You're sure to find a great place to read a book or take a photo.

Rates are per en-suited bedroom (no extra bedding available).

The Queen bedroom is one of just two and includes full access to the private guest lounge and dining area. Have as much privacy as you like. The Queen Room has a queen size bed, is very spacious and looks out over the front gardens. There is easy flat access to parking.

The King room is even bigger and accessible by wheelchair; has a king bed; has an en-suite designed for disabled access and use; and has direct flat access to parking. Please note that this larger bed, room and en-suite is the same rate as the Queen room plus an extra $20.

All rooms are on the ground floor and there is easy flat access to all facilities.

Full breakfasts are included and menu of choices available. Let us know if you have any special requests prior to arriving. We love the opportunity to prepare other meals as requested. Even invite visitors and have a private dinner party.

This is a fabulous place to lose yourself in the quiet country environment and be as busy as you like, or not. We don't have facilities for children, pets or extra beds or guests - our apologies.

Grant and Tony will give you a warm welcome and ensure your stay is exceptional.

Why Tony Austin chose Stokers Siding

We purchased specifically because of the quiet, central location and great house for a B&B. There's a lovely creek to find and sit by; and lots of spots for reading, photography and more.

What makes this bed and breakfast unique

Beautiful fully cooked breakfasts, small high end B&B, and lots to do or nothing.

We were so excited for our Getaway to Stoker's Lodge and it exceeded our expectations (Which were high). Grant and Tony were the most warm, welcoming and friendly guests, we both felt as though we were staying with good friends. The food was delicious and has left me searching my area for Cherry Bread which Grant served us in the morning. The Stoker's area itself was so green and lush, but the lodge itself was really a standout and made you feel like you were staying in a luxury country style estate. We will be back without a doubt in the near future as it was one of the most enjoyable, relaxing and beautiful holidays we have ever been on, which was made so special by our hosts Grant and Tony.

We stayed for 3 wonderfully relaxing nights at Stokers Lodge and what a place! The queen room is beautiful, large and has all the luxuries you could hope for. The guest lounge dining area is huge, just beautiful with windows onto the gardens and plunge pool. The FOOD well that is just amazing! Restaurant quality yummy breakfasts, plus amazingly delicious and decadent dinners (for just $25 a person), free bottle of wine to enjoy, the list goes on. Grant is a delightful host, helpful and chatty, but also gives you plenty of space and free time is easy in this large B and B. We loved it and would recommend it to all, we hope to return again, as it is really like staying with friends. We feel that Stokers Lodge is run just how a B and B should be. Thank you guys.

Owner's Response: Oh Fay, What can we say - thank you so much for your kind words. It was a delight having you both as you are so much fun and obviously enjoy life. Please come again soon. There are lots more local attractions for you to enjoy and the pool is a delightful place to just sit in summer. We are also hoping to add some sample menus of different style ranges that you can chose from for lunches and dinners. Keep well. Grant and Tony

Outstanding Service

  • 5 of 5

Staying here at Stokers Lodge was an absolute delight. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with everything you needed at your finger tips. The hosts made us feel very welcome and with the endless supply of home made cakes and biscuits, we certainly left Stokers Sliding a few kilos heavier. We enjoyed the peace and serenity of the hinterland and will most definitely return again in the not too distant future.
