The cottage is quaint, pristine and has lots of character. Very accommodating for a couple, two couples or a family.....sleeps up to 6. Children are welcome.
On a large block with a tropical garden, rainforest backdrop and a running creek called Sweet Creek (named by Captain Cook and he took water from here). There is a platform out into this area for you to sit and enjoy the sounds of the rainforest early morning or late evening. Take a stroll along the creek.

All along the melaleuca gum tree lined esplanade and the palm fringed beach you have the 'oh so chic' village of Palm Cove with superb boutique shopping, art galleries, world class restaurants and cafes (Captain Cook noted all these magnificent white Melaleuca trees at Palm Cove...so this just shows you how old they are)
Palm Cove is only 25mins from Cairns airport and then only 30mins onto Port Douglas.
Truly a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. The only place on earth where two world heritage listings meet in such spectacular fashion!.
The beach is safe for swimming all year round (in the net enclosure Nov- May) with lifeguards on duty.
it is an easy walk 15min to the Topical zoo from the cottage.
You can fish from the beach or off the Palm Cove jetty.Water sport equipment for hire both ends of the beach.
