Elm House is an elegant, fully furnished, two bedroom, one bathroom, Victorian home adjacent to the cafes, restaurants and village vibe of Beatty Avenue. Conveniently located close to Toorak station, with tram and bus options also close by, you are literally a 10 minute ride from all the festivals, exhibitions, concerts and sporting events that Melbourne city centre has to offer. Closer to home you can enjoy the delights of High Street Armadale, Hawksburn or Toorak Villages and Chapel St.

In addition to the brilliant location this stunning home features two double bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other a split king, each with built in robes, 1000+ count linen, ornamental fireplaces and plantation shutters. The beautiful arched hallway leads to a central living space with its own ornamental fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo and two large, comfortable couches and plantation shutters. The bright, fully equipped, eat in kitchen features a harvest table that comfortably seats six and extends to eight, European appliances including dishwasher and flows to the backdrop, a north facing, rear courtyard that provides leafy privacy and off street parking. This outside space is matched by the equally attractive and private front courtyard. The well lit bathroom has a modern shower, single vanity and plenty of storage in the mirrored cupboards. The home is also equipped with a washing machine and separate dryer for your convenience. Heating and cooling enchances each of these engaging rooms.

Room service and extra information

Close by, Cafe Amalia is happy to arrange breakfast or lunch "room service", during opening hours or you can place an order for any of their delicious take home meals for dinner.

This home is perfect for both city breaks or longer stays. It would suit families or couples. A portable cot, high chair and baby bath can be provided by request, however you will need to supply your own bedding for the cot.

Gorgeous house

Fabulous house. Couldn't fault it. Delightful. Had family Christmas here and didn't need to borrow anything there was such a fantastic stock of plates and dishes. Vases aplenty. Will be back and would definitely recommend this gorgeous little house if you want location and character.

Great property

Stayed here with my 2 young daughters & it was ideal. Fabulously positioned & extremely clean & comfortable. My only recommendation would be to supply a few of the usual kitchen necessities (condiments, oil etc) & a hairdryer. Would still highly recommend staying here. A little gem in a beautiful location!

A perfect city stay!

Elm House was a perfect find. The house is ideally situated with cafes and public transport mere metres away. We found we did lots of walking as it is so well located to larger strip shopping centres. The house itself felt so 'homely'and had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Pass the coffee through the fence

This house is such a gem, perfectly located just steps away from the train station, and so close to a variety of cafes and dining options. We enjoyed daily coffees and meals served to the porch! The house is extremely clean, functional and worked extremely well for us with a young baby with cot/high chair/baby bath all provided. It was a perfect transitional space for us as we prepared to leave Melbourne for an overseas move, and we would happily stay again on return visits home.

Beautiful home in great location

The house was bigger than it looked from pictures, spotlessly clean and fully equipped for our 8 night stay. Located next to cafes and within a stone's throw of Toorak station and the 72 tram, it couldn't have been more conveniently located. The owner was very easy to deal with - check-in and check-out were simple. Perfect stay!
