The Old Schoolhouse is a unique location offering quality accommodation for couples in a rural setting just outside Milton township and only ten minutes from beautiful beaches.

Located just 4km from Milton and set on 2.5 acres of tranquil lawns and orchard with views in all directions. The Old Schoolhouse is an historic home well known in the district.

While the schoolhouse itself is long gone with only a patch of asphalt marking out its former territory, the historic Schoolmaster's residence remains.

The main homestead is the heart of this rambling property, with two separate accommodation choices beyond the house. It has all the trappings of a rural property with a productive vegetable garden and orchard, and chooks that wander throughout the grounds. It even has a full sized cricket pitch.

While the property retains the charm of a colonial homestead the interiors have been updated to incorporate the best of modern style.

Guests at The Old Schoolhouse are free to wander around the gardens and orchard and delight in picking fruit straight from the tree and collecting fresh laid eggs for their breakfast.

The Old Schoolhouse offers two unique and charming self contained accommodation options, The Loft and The Stables, suitable for double or single occupancy.

The Loft

The Loft is a bright, fresh and airy apartment with wonderful views. This spacious one bedroom apartment comprises, a large, sun drenched master bedroom and en-suite bathroom, living room and kitchen with modern appliances including gas cooking, air conditioning and heating. The living room is just the space to relax reading a favourite book, watching TV or using your computer via the wifi.

There is a north-facing balcony off the bedroom with charming views over the garden and orchard. A second deck with table and chairs for outdoor dining overlooks the surrounding countryside. The Loft has its own private entrance via the rear balcony with parking at the door.

Lower the blinds in the bedroom and the natural quiet of the countryside ensure relaxed daytime sleeping. There is a well stocked pantry and access to the vegetable garden and orchard plus fresh eggs each day.

The Loft offers the peace of rural living just a couple of minutes from Milton town.

The Old Schoolhouse is the perfect place to discover all the astonishing things that Milton has to offer. Set amongst stunning diary country but only minutes away from Narrawalle and Mollymook Beach, Milton has become a centre for wonderful food and wine and a vibrant arts community.
