If you're looking for a relaxing, quiet location with the ultimate in privacy you have found the place. You'll enjoy the solitude of 30 acres with 1/2 mile of shoreline....all to yourselves. House, 5 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 9-11) MAX 11 PERSONS PER STAY - NO EXCEPTIONS

No stairs no hills, walk on flat green lawn just steps to the lake. This is a great property for family get-togethers, fishing outings, or just a quiet romantic retreat. About Page Quilling

I'm a third generation general contractor and traded my last quarter horse for my first truck when I first entered the business. I married my wife just out of high school and have two beautiful daughters. Went to Grand Lake on a vacation and fell in love with this family estate and purchased it for my retirement and sanity.

Page Quilling purchased this house in 2007

Why Page Quilling chose Oklahoma

It's 7.5 miles from Sailboat Bridge, which is as close to the city of Grove as Monkey Island. Gentle sloping lawn right to the water's edge with my own private cove and dock. No neighbors within close proximity so lots of privacy.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a great time visiting Oklahoma for our annual family reunion with 3 families coming from Arizona and Michigan. The house was set up great with everything we needed. The property and view were awesome. We would definitely like to return again.

Beautiful and relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

The family and I celebrated my husband's 50th birthday. The owner, Paige, was very nice and helpful. The inside of the house was very clean and everything was in working condition. The outside property was nicely manicured and just a few steps from the shoreline. We are already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful! Family w/e with kids from Kansas & Texas. House is very nice with every thing we could possibly need. Page was very accomdating, bringing us dry wood for our bonfire & letting us rent his pontoon boat. Sad there is no dish washer though! But, we all loved our stay in this beautiful setting.

Great place for a family lake getaway

  • 5 of 5

Just as the description says, Cassanda Shores is a beautiful waterfront house on Grand Lake. The owner is a charming and responsive host, and the house is nicely appointed in a lake house sort of way and was very comfortable for our family of 9. The house is set on 30 acres with beautiful view of the grounds and the lake with gentle slopes down to the shoreline. It feels very private and secluded and made us feel like we could really let our hair down and relax without worrying about what the neighbors think, since their aren't really any nearby. We were surprised at how much was furnished - much more than any VRBO rental we have used in the past. It has a fully equipped kitchen with lots of pots, pans, small appliances (two blenders, three coffee pots, two mixers) dishes, glasses, etc. plus a lot of toys (lake noodles, kites, kids toys) and outdoor games like Bocce ball and horseshoes to enjoy, plus a fire pit and a gas cooking grill. We had nice weather but if we hadn't there are also a lot of indoor table games and a TV with hundreds of channels through DISH Network as well as music channels. There is a lot of great private shoreline and a nice private dock with a decent pontoon boat you can rent.

It's not perfect -- another 1/2 bath would be nice for the size of the group we had or larger, but it's hard to think of much else that could be improved. WiFi was spotty but who really needs that anyway if you're trying to have a lake getaway?

All and all it made for a great holiday weekend for our family. We will definitely be back!

Incredible family retreat!

Our family spent a week at this incredible retreat. My youngest daughter was surprised by her boyfriend with a wedding proposal across the bridge on the small island. We spent the week swimming, fishing, boating and building bonfires!!!! Beautiful property with an amazing owner/host!!!

Perfect Family Vacation Home and Location!!

  • 5 of 5

This lake home was exactly what we were looking for!! The home is beautiful, roomy and comfortable and the view and access of the lake is incredible!! We really appreciated the privacy of our own beach/swimming area and huge back yard to grill, play games and roast marshmellows in the fire pit! It was so nice to have room to enjoy the outdoors without having other cabins close by. This house is in a great location for privacy! Our children and grandchildren loved that they could just walk into the lake without climbing over a lot of rocks and they could jump off the dock to swim. The pontoon boat was great to get out on the lake to fish, swim and enjoy the beautiful scenery! Our grandchildren had never been in a canoe but had a great time paddling around in the private cove! With 6 adults and 4 children in our group we had more than enough room in the Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room and 5 Bedrooms. This home is stocked with everything a family would need and many extras. Page and his family made sure we had everything we needed and were outstanding hosts, but they also gave you the space to just enjoy this lake home! This is what we call a true lake home, as you can walk right out the back door on to a beautiful deck, and there is this incredible view and shoreline of Grand Lake! It was perfect!! Thanks again Page and Family!
