A large home with multiple indoor and outdoor living areas, situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, close to the beach, parks, shops, restaurants and cafes.
The house has been extensively renovated, and is modern and fresh. The living areas are north facing, so are beautifully sunny and light.
Downstairs is a large open north-facing living area, dining area and kitchen, as well as a rumpus room and bathroom. At the back is a large covered deck with an outdoor lounge, 8-seat table and chairs, barbeque, and an 8-person spa. The backyard has a level grassed area.
There are 5 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite with double shower and double vanity. Two bedrooms have queen beds, one has two single beds, and the other one single bed. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes. A travel cot can be made available if required.
The kitchen is large and fully featured, and includes a Smeg gas stove, Nespresso coffee machine, and Miele dishwasher.
The rumpus room has a large TV, Apple TV, Playstation and Wii, as well as games, puzzles and books.
The house is well insulated, has ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms, and air conditioning / heating in the living area and main bedroom.
Pets are welcome! We have a medium sized doggy-door (for a cocker spaniel), which opens into the living area. We are ok with pets inside the house, so long as they are toilet trained.
Wireless internet throughout the house.
Some surfboards, body boards and snorkelling gear are available on request.
Linen, bath towells, beach towells, shampoo and conditioner, washing machine & dishwasher powder and kitchen essentials (such as Nespresso capsules, alfoil, cling-wrap etc) are all supplied.
We will provide a guest manual with information about the house and locality.
Our house is located in Sydney's beautiful northern beaches, and has the following attractions within 1.5km:
* Manly, Shelly & Freshwater beaches - gorgeous beaches with both surf and child friendly options, including protected 25m rock pools
* Manly Dam - mountain biking, water skiing, undercover picnic tables and woodfire barbeques
* Manly Pool - outdoor heated 25m and 50m pools, and indoor heated 25m and child pools
* Parks - several large parks with children's playgrounds & skate bowl
* Warringah Golf Course - 18 hole public course (membership not required)
* Warringah Mall - major department stores, specialty shops, cinema
There are local shops 300m away (including a small Coles supermarket, chemist and bottle shop), which are adequate for the vast majority of everyday needs.
The house has on and off-street parking, and is 300m from Condamine St which has buses to the city and Manly (which also has ferries to the city).
