About the property

A large top level 1 bedroom marina apartment with direct access to resort facilities including:

Sunsets: Newly refurbished a la carte restaurant (highly recommended)

Spa Island Cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. 25m lap pool (infinity edge) and shaded childrens wading pool are on Spa Island. BBQ facilities and toilet & showers are available here also. Keep your eye out for the friendly wildlife everywhere too :-)

Marina Boardwalk Bar & Cafe to enjoy a light snack and/or beverage

Lagoon - kayaking (free to use & life jackets provided)

Childrens playground, and a wide variety of sporting activities including: tennis courts, squash court, running track, jump pits, shuffle board, table tennis, giant outdoor chess set, mini golf, golf driving nets, indoor lawn bowls, bocce arena, half basketball court, beach volleyball area, gymnasium.

This is a boaties dream holiday, with direct access to your own boat moored at the marina (extra cost for marina berth per day)

Abundant fishing spots in and around the marina as well as the ocean side of the island.

Walking/cycling tracks take you through the rainforest area where birdlife is abundant. A pristine surf beach is a leisurely bike ride away.

One adult size bicycle is available for guests to use. Please ensure bike is locked when not in use. Additional bicycles are available for hire from the resort at a cost of $15 per day.

The apartment is fully self contained with a north facing balcony that is always in the shade. The marina outlook is ever changing and has magnificent views at all times of the day and night. Wildlife and birdlife is abundant and can be seen and heard from your ideal island getaway.

The apartment is light and airy. It is cool in summer either with the screened windows and doors open, or utilizing the air conditioners. Winter - what winter? If it gets a bit nippy, turn the reverse cycle air conditioner on.

Very comfortable king size bed in large bedroom with lots of storage, air conditioning and a wall mounted TV.

Linen for two adults/master bed is included - Additional linen fee per sofa can apply - enquire if more than 2 adults staying. Negotiable depending on season

Unless booked through Stayz Instant Book system: An email/fax of booking persons drivers licence/Accepted Photo ID, signed acceptance of house rules and full payment of rental and additional items must be received a minimum of 24 hours prior to arrival date. Payment methods accepted - Direct debit or Credit Card over the telephone (eftpos terminal)

Bond of $200. Bond will be refunded within one week of the end of the rental period provided that upon departure, all terms and conditions are met (as per house rules/T's & C's)

Travel to South Stradbroke Island is by water. If you have your own vessel, there is an extra cost for a marina berth (depending on length of vessel, per day) The resort gives vouchers that can be used for food and beverage. For example up to a 4 metre vessel cost is $20 per day, Mon to Thurs, and you receive a $20 voucher that can be used at all food and beverage outlets at the resort.Fridays to Sundays the fee is $40 per day (with a $40 voucher that can be spent at all food and beverage outlets) The marina berth must be booked through Couran Cove.

Ramada Couran Cove Resort water taxis depart regularly daily, and must be booked prior to travel. Cost is $30 return per adult, $15 return per child (extra luggage & large eskys additional cost). This item must be booked through Couran Cove.

There are also private water taxis, for example the Broadwater Taxi. Price on application, but usually approx. $150 return (4 to 5 passengers including luggage and eskys) We highly recommend this service for families or those who wish to travel when it suits them and not be dictated by a timetable. Guests deal directly with the owner/skipper of the service. Contact numbers can be provided if required.

Other Resort & island facilities

There is a resort laundry with coin operated washing machines and dryers

There is a general store located within the resort area, close to the children's playground.

Surf beach is life guard patrolled during peak holiday times and weekends (to be confirmed)

Beautiful view over the marina

Lovely place with great view over marina. Loved the balcony and the comfy outdoor setting. Very clean and modern. Had everything you need in the kitchen and a really cozy lounge. Close to the resort facilities but bit of a walk (30min) to the surf beach. It's a nice walk though so perfectly fine if you have enough time on the island to explore.

We are happy that you agree the apartment has terrific views and a comfy outdoor setting, perfect for relaxing with a beverage. Yes, the beach is a fair way from the resort it's true. We will aim to have 4 bicycles there asap, as cycling is the way to go, only taking about 10 minutes. There is the resort 'train' available out to the beach, and the restaurant also, at selected times. Apologies that we didn't have bicycles available for your stay though.
