Stablebase is an architecturally designed accommodationlocated in beautiful countryside just minutes from the centre of Albany, stunning beaches and national parks.
Stablebase is a self contained wing of our house. It is accessed through the main entry hall shared with our wing of the house or via glass doors directly from a deck area and guest parking. Guest are welcome to stroll around our 6 acre block, chat to the horses and chooks and pick a few home grown veggies and herbs for dinner.
The house and linked unit were completed in 2015 and contains everything you will need for a relaxing break on the pristine south coast of WA. It has well appointed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a living / dining space connected to a north facing deck to enjoy Albany’s tranquil summer evenings.
Stablebase is a fully self-contained private wing of our house and has been constructed to the same high environmental design standards. The building’ passive solar design is light and airy with high levels of insulation to keep the spaces cool in summer and warm in winter.
The gardens and paddocks surrounding Stablebase on our 6-acre property are being developed using organic and permaculture principles to enhance and regenerate the landscape and wildlife. The produce from our gardens and free-range eggs are available for guests to enjoy while staying with us
We are always just a door knock or phone call away. We both work in Albany and are close by if there's anything you need. We will be around in our wing of the house next door in the morning, evenings and weekends if you would like to ask any questions, help with holiday tips and to give you a few great southern holiday secrets !
