An entertainment room with billiards and card tables, tennis courts, business center, gym/fitness center and day spa with Jacuzzi and sauna/steam room.


24/7 Security at the gated entrance and the beach. There is a Schlag Lock box in the unit for your use.


Best Properties provides property management and will meet you at the property to properly check you in and insure you have everything you need. Best Properties can provide you with a private cook and maid upon request. They are available for emergency help and questions you may have.

Surroundings: The condo is located on Ixtapa Beach, or Playa Palmar and is very close (3 min. walk) to the Boat Marina. The Marina features several restaurants which serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chartered fishing trips and catamaran tours can be arranged at the Marina. The Marina Ixtapa Golf Club is located across the street. The golf club was built in 1994 and is ranked by Golf Digest as one of Mexico's best courses!


Ixtapa is a small resort town which is walking distance from the BVG. Ixtapa offers many diverse, locally owned restaurants and shops.


Only a short taxi cab ride away is Zihua. Zihua has a different feel than Ixtapa with it's fishing history and restaurants on the beach. There are many unique shops and a very large traditional Mexican market.

The condo is exactly as pictured and is beautiful. Plenty of room and privacy to share with up to 3 couples. The balcony was awesome for morning coffee and after pool time cocktails.

The resort is perfect. Service was outstanding and the grounds were immaculate. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The beach is great and nice to be on the quieter end.

Fabulous Vacation in Ixtapa at The Bay View Grand Marina

Our family enjoyed another fantastic vacation in this beautiful condo! The views are incredible! The condo has everything you could possibly need including comfortable beds. Once again we had the opportunity to stay at one of our favorite condos at BVG Marina. We have stayed here in the past and have always been extremely pleased with the accommodations. Views from each bedroom are amazing. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals if you decide to cook in. The owner is great to work with and addresses any concerns immediately. Needless to say we have already booked for 6 weeks next year.

We stayed at the Bay View Grand Marina for a week and the owner's description of the condominium was spot on.

All the bedrooms had a view of the ocean and the view from the master bedroom was amazing! The apartment was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated in a beach-style which complemented the light airy feel of the place. The kitchen was small, but functional and had all had the necessary appliances.

We did not use the kitchen often, because the breakfast and lunch served in the restaurant was very good, fresh, tasty and inexpensive. We all enjoyed the drinks served at the bar and the pool and the staff was always very friendly and made us feel welcome. In the evenings it was a short stroll to the marina restaurants or we walked into town for diner and the restaurants, which were recommended by the owner and did not disappoint us! We had the best food there, better at any other Mexican place we have visited. We used the gym quit a bit, it was never busy and fully equipped, but to go for a run on the beach in the morning was definitely the best!

I would recommend this place to our friends and reading a book at the edge of the infinity pool and gazing over the beach to the ocean, i always will remember.

great view

The BVG Marina is the best. The unit has a great view, however the pots and pans need to be replaced, toaster has a electrical short and doesn't work and the dryer requires time to cool off in between loads because it gets too hot and shuts down. These things aren't game changers but the owner did not make us aware of her personal rules at the time of booking which cost us another $500 to rent another unit for five days. We were told by the people that handled the unit, as well the administration at that BVG, that 8 persons in a 3 bedroom was the allowable limit and not an issue. The unit has extra beds and 8 chairs at the dinning room which was boosted of in her add at the time. So when we were told by her 3 weeks before our arrival that 8 people was a violation of BVG policy and that she would have to pay big fines if caught, we had no choice but to rent another unit to cover an overlap in flights by our guests for a few days. Coming up with new rules after we had a signed rental agreement and all arrangements made, and then lying about the occupancy limits and fines was as unprofessional as I have ever encountered. Needless to say we will never trust these people with our vacation plans again.

Owner's Response: Dear Stan, I am happy you agree the BVG Marina is THE BEST and C703 has GREAT VIEWS. Thank you for letting me know about the defected appliances. I have already replaced them AND I have added all NEW dining plates, bowls and drinkware! The BVG Marina strives to make ALL guests safe and comfortable. For safety purposes, our Administration and Security departments requests that all guest be registered. 30 days prior to your arrival you provided a list of your guests which included 4 more guests from your original booking and you were over the occupancy which is why you were required to get another room. My contract, website, and the VRBO listing has been the same for 6 years without occupancy or rule changes. For the comfort of All guests the Administration enforces rules so there isn’t a stress on the resort's resources such as the beach and pool chairs. It is the BVG Marina’s and my goal to ensure EVERY guest has the best possible experience! Thank you for your time and I appreciate your feedback!
