About this property

Cambray Cottages Nannup - Bush Cottage

Cambray cottages, situated 12 kilometres north of Nannup on the Vasse Hwy, are set on 160 acres of farmland surrounded by native bush. This is the ultimate getaway.

Steeped in history, the farm is on the site of the old Sussex Sawmill. You can interact with the farm animals or go bush walking and spot the myriad of fauna and flora that abounds in the area. The farm is operating as a sheep dairy and gourmet cheese making enterprise. The farm also has an orchard featuring vintage fruit varieties, avocados and citrus where you can pick and enjoy fresh tree ripened fruit.

The Cottage - Bush Cottage

The country style cottages feature jarrah bush poles, timber floors in the living area and carpeted bedrooms. The cottages are fully self contained with TV, Video, reverse cycle airconditioning, microwaves, gas hotplates, electric blankets, barbeque and laundry facilities.

This cottage has two bedrooms, the first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed and a bunk bed.

Upon arrival guests are invited to explore our farm shop with our award winning sheep cheese and farm produce then return to your cottage to savour a complimentary Cambray Cheese platter.

Things to do in surrounding areas

Enjoy the sheep cheese on your doorstep. Visit the local winerys , explore the many bush walks and scenic drives. Visit the Blackwood River and perhaps hire a canoe for a twilight tour or fish for Trout. Explore the town site and see craft shops featuring locally made timber furniture, antique shops, galleries and local produce. Enjoy the display of wildflowers in spring and the Tulip display in August. Catch the excitement of the Forest Rally in Nannup in April and the music festival in March. Roses galore in November and river pools to cool off in in December.

Nannup is the Heart of the Southwest and less than an hours drive from Busselton, Bunbury, Balingup, Bridgetown, Manjimup, Pemberton and Margaret River. Cambray Cottages is the perfect central destination for your holiday in the Southwest.

Excellent
A really nice and comfortable place to stay -quiet and peaceful. There was everything that we needed. when we did require something extra the staff were most helpful in providing our requirements. Had a very good Sunday lunch at the Nannup Hotel, but meals do require a bit of a journey for us oldies. Well worth a stay.

Kids just loved it being on the farm. Owners made us feel welcome and went out there way to show the kids all the animals on the farm.

Great little getaway. Kids loved playing on the farm and watching the sheep get milked. House was just the right size and very comfortable for our family of 5.

Peaceful setting, quaint cottage and great chsese shop!!!
We all enjoyed our stay at the Bush Cottage - it was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Watching the sheep being milked and the cheese being made, speaking with Bruce, and tasting cheeses in the shop were all a bonus! Thanks for a wonderful stay.
