Spacious, beautiful and unique. It has an open concept with a quiet separation if desired. Beautiful artwork and old books available to enjoy. Enclosed courtyard with green grass and big oak trees. Property backs up to the neighbors corrals for walk up petting enjoyment of the horses. Great for family reunions, and kids . Near many restaurants for cultural enjoyment. Perfect location for weddings and receptions.

Sleeping accommodations:

Sleeps 10 and big enough for at least 2 or 3 families. Master bedroom has 1 queen bed, guest bedroom #2 has 1 queen bed. Bedroom #3 is very large has 2 bunk beds with bottom full beds and twin beds on top.

This residence is on an almost 10 acre property with horse corrals nearby and is a commercial/residential space. The Rocking Zzz is quiet and comfortable in a sleepy small town but does share a common adobe wall with a small boutique with separate entrances.

We had a great stay. This place has a lot of history. Duane lives right next door and was very helpful. Its right in the middle of Santa Fe and Taos.

A gracious traditional New Mexico adobe

We enjoyed the clean and spacious traditional home. We had two couples and some singles who managed well together. We greatly appreciated the kitchen and dining facilities when we entertained guests. We enjoyed the pool table and all of the family photos and memorabilia. We will gladly stay here again when we come back to the area. Another bath would be helpful...but not an absolute necessity.

Unbelievable, charming

We loved the character and history of the home. Horses next door which our kids watched. The rooms have charm and there is plenty to do for fun, including movies, pool table, shuffle board. There's lots of space to hang out.

We celebrated Thanksgiving at the large dining table and it felt special. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and were able to use the dishwasher and laundry for convenience. The property was clean and the owner's were great to us as well.

Espanola is close to Santa Fe and provided a good starting point to go to Taos where we went skiing. Skiing in Taos was awesome and there are great restaurants in Santa Fe - which is 15 minutes away. It was quiet and we felt safe. Overall, we had an amazing experience.
