Buses run regularly to the city. You have the option of either taking the bus to the city and onto Circular Quay and Darling harbour or you can take a bus to Balmain's ferry dock and catch a ferry to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, the Opera House and Luna Park as well.
Street parking is available if you have a car.

The area is well serviced by buses to the Sydney CBD and
Sydney's many sights and attractions. You can catch a bus to the ferry dock in Balmain to Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House, The Harbour Bridge, The Royal Botanic Gardens, The Rocks and Darling Harbour.
Nearest train station is Town Hall, which is a 10 minute bus ride away.
There's really no need to leave the neighbourhood but if you must it’s only a 10-minute bus ride or a 30-40 minute walk over the ANZAC Bridge into the CBD, Darling Harbour or the Sydney Fish Markets. The bus stop is a 2-minute walk away and is very well serviced...
Parking: If you have a car there is 2-hours free (Mon-Fri only other times free unrestricted) street parking directly in front of the house and unrestricted parking on the other side of the street. Always check the signage and please don't take any risks as parking inspectors are quite strict.
This house is centrally located, and street/traffic noise is unavoidable. Light sleepers beware.

Checkin and out: please advise your expected checkin and checkout times. It needs to work with cleaning and other guests checking in and out.
Generally speaking it's available with a 3pm checkin and 10am checkout but there maybe flexibility on these times.
The cottage is well located for public transport to the city 10 minutes away, and are walking distance into Balmain. There are lots of local cafes and restaurants within a short walk. The bus to the city goes past Darling Harbour and the light rail goes past the fish markets, Star City casino, the Maritime Museum and the Powerhouse Museum. Or you can catch a bus to the Balmain ferry wharf.
Within 5 kms are The CBD central business district, Darling Harbour with Sydney Sea Life and Sydney Wild Life, Chinatown, Paddys Market, Circular Quay, the Opera House, the Botanic Gardens, the AGNSW art gallery of NSW, the MCA Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney Tower, the Overseas Passenger terminals and the Sydney Exhibition Centre.
