About this property

This is the most wonderful cosy get away when it is just the two of you and can be perfect for couples.
We also have a tri bunk room that is suitable for 2 children.
There is a small additional charge for the bunk room.
A full kitchen with combined lounge dining completes the picture.
This space is much larger than your usual 1 bedroom or studio Retreat and is very comfortable.
This is a dual key property. We have a larger option the Residence which is for extended families. Both are seperate and there are no shared spaces or car parking.

There is an interconnecting door that is locked. This has not been a problem with our guests.

We sometimes live on site in seperate accommodation and here to help if needed. We love to welcome our guests and say hi.

We have a great out door room with a Weber BBQ and a table setting which is put to good use in both summer and winter.

In the kitchen we provide all the staples such as olive oil, herbs & spices for cooking, pepper, salt, paper towels, serviettes, baking paper, cling film and foil.
We have an espresso machine for coffee lovers with coffee provided to get your day off to a great start!
We want to make your getaway as easy and enjoyable as possible without you having to bring everyday essentials.
Just bring the food and wine you need and everything else is here ready for you to kick back and enjoy.
For any little members of the group we have provided toys, books, games and DVD's to keep everyone entertained.
This is great for a couple or a small family it is not suitable for big groups or extended families.
After a day out enjoying all that is on offer relax with a BBQ, cook up a feast on the Baby Weber Q open the wine and watch the spectacular sun set the even locals such as the friendly kangaroo family or a wombat might wander by to say hi and enjoy the sunset.

Great place to stay in the mountains

We stayed at The White House Retreat to help look after our grandkids while their parents were at a wedding at Tinkersfield. It was the perfect location and within walking distance of the wedding venue and their accommodation. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outlook is beautiful and the cottage is well appointed. The area is quiet and the heating fantastic. Would stay again if going back that way.

Andreas place is just right

Great location and great accomodation

This Stayz has everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine with beans. Quite spacious with a fireplace and close to the ski tube. Thanks for having us

Loved it !!

Loved our weeks stay during winter. Underfloor heating keeps the property warm and the wood fire is amazing to get going after a days skiing and meant we could dry our clothes each night after a day on the slopes. The grassed area was great for the kids to kick the ball around. Property had everything you could need and was in a great location for either snow fields and Jindy. We will look to return again next year.

I love all things Christmas and found my reindeer hiding a cupboard...I was a bit excited as you can see.
I enjoy the Snowy Mountains region and all that is on offer, bush walking in summer and snow fun in winter. It is certainly a region where you really do experience all four seasons. I enjoy meeting people from different places and helping them to enjoy all that is on offer in the Snowy Mountains and Andrea's White House.

Why they chose this property

The White House has a certain country charm which has you feeling relaxed in no time....no wonder I loved it the moment we walked in to inspect the house.
Loved it then and love it now it has stood the test of time.

What makes this property unique

Being on a 5 acre blush block you have the much needed peace and quiet yet you are close to Jindabyne for shopping and services, Thredbo Alpine Village for year round fun and 5 mins from the ski tube to take you to Perisher in winter. You miss all the Jindabyne traffic which is a total win !
The property has the best of both worlds peace, back to nature and yet close to it all.
Peace and quiet abounds close to the action for both summer and winter without all the crowds and noise around. Perfect escape to allow you to connect with loved ones and appreciate all that is good in life
