Highball House is one of Bundanoon's original guesthouses built circa 1903 and is generally considered to be the longest continuously run Guesthouse in Bundanoon.
It sits on approximately 5000 m2 of established tree lined gardens.It is about a 500m level walk to the centre of the village where there are a variety of different shops and cafe's and a pub of course!
It has 14 bedrooms including a bunk room with 2 single beds. 13 of the bedrooms have double beds in them and some of the larger rooms an extra single to make up accommodation for a total of 36.

There is plenty of onsite parking and room for overflow parking on the grass. The building has extensive veranda's,3 bathrooms,2 separate shower rooms and 2 separate powder rooms.
2 connected living areas each with fires,a garden conservatory , a bar area and an external BBQ area and a games shed close by which has a pool and table tennis table and a large TV,Dartboard and fridge.
There is Hydronic heating for the living,Bar,dining areas set at 24 degree and an electric heater thermostat controlled in each of the bedrooms. The bathrooms have a ceiling heater in each plus there are two open fires with wood supplied in the lounge areas.

The dining room accommodates 36 people and the large commercial style kitchen can easily cater for this amount.Kitchen crockery and cutlery etc is provided for 36 people.
Any functions for over 36 (and up to 50) guests can be accommodated for and tables/chairs/cutlery provided but this incurs an extra service fee of $750 and needs to by prior arrangement.The front verandah would also be suitable to be set up for this purpose in summer.
There is free firewood for the 2 internal and one external fires and 2 bikes provided for your use and free WIFI.
We don't cater but have a list of caterers if you need one. The local restaurants are also a great option to pick up food for a more economical function option.
We have a local staff member for support but no one on site
Traditionally famous for it's proximity to the Morton National Park and gullies Bundanoon has recently become world famous for becoming bottled water free! Free water coolers are located throughout the town, very handy considering its current popularity as a centre for cycling and bushwalking. Brigadoon,Cycling Events and other festivals also light up Bundanoon on occasions. Mostly though it is a great place to connect and relax in the country away from the stresses of the city.
Bundanoon Village is about 500m away. There is a Bottle shop, News agency, Chemist, Hairdressers, Doctors Surgery, Butcher, Bakery, Convenience store Antique and Collectables, Gift Shops and Galleries. There are also Italian,Chinese,Pub and Continental Restaurants and Coffee shops.
There are three great local cool climate vineyards within cycling distance on back roads. St Maur, Sally's Corner and Banjo's run. Go a little further down the road to Sutton Forest Wines and you can get an incredible al fresco antipasto lunch as well!
Just down the road there is also a Buddhist temple which is well worth spending some time at.

Linen and towels can be provided(sheets, pillow case and towels) for these for $66 per double bed, single for $55. (Bed is made up for you prior to arrival)
We have 2 televisions for movies with DVD players and a supply of DVD's.
There are no Laundry facilities available but an iron and ironing board is available. Laundry facilities can be arranged for guests staying for an entire week.
