Great location, reasonably priced home.

The house is located just across the street from the community center. There are a lot of activities available to keep everyone in the family occupied, including tennis, swimming, volley ball and hiking trails. The location is also fairly close to other New Hampshire attractions. Two of the televisions had Netflix available, so the kids were entertained while we were in the house. The price for the house was very fair, but I'd recommend that the owner spruce things up a little bit. The bathrooms were a bit run down and the lower level bathroom could use some paint. The cleaning crew may also want to be a bit more thorough. There were numerous dead bugs stuck in the stove exhaust fan and the oven pans in the drawer under the oven were completely covered in grease.

We just stayed a week here. It is the perfect getaway for almost any family. It was super clean when we arrived. Everything here is just as stated.Awesome wrap around deck. Plenty of space! having a washer and dryer was a great amenity as was the Community Center being just steps away. Great pools and paddle boating at no extra cost! Only about a 7 min drive from the highway. Close by to many area attractions. Just a short ride to Waterville Valley Town Square where there are canoe and kayak rentals. Was in touch with the housekeeper during our stay.....she was super helpful and a real peach. We loved everything about this place including the location. The owner was very helpful and prompt answering any and all questions before our arrival. Can't wait to stay here again! Was a perfect vacation spot for our family. We hope to be annuals! Thanks Natalia!!

Natalia's home was awesome with plenty of space and all the amenities needed for a great family vacation. The Community center was fabulous and only a 2 minute walk from the vacation property. We hope to make this a yearly family vacation spot!

Property not what was expected

  • 1 of 5

Let me start off by saying that this property was not as described- could not accommodate 10 people. Not sure where all the positive reviews came from. I've stayed in multiple rentals the last 5 years and this is my first negative review and hopefully last. The entire house was very uncomfortable. Furniture and beds old and uncomfortable. The living room, kitchen and outdoor area had insufficient seating. The living room had a 3 person couch, a recliner and a chair- making it very difficult to spend any time together as a family in what should be a common gathering place. The kitchen was a little better and could accommodate about 8 people. We had to cover the living room chairs with blankets our entire stay because they all had stains on them- also everything smelled "old and musty" We went out our first night and picked up some febreeze spray as I couldn't stand the smell (being 7 months pregnant with twins doesn't help either) We paid extra for the linen package but it was just a bunch of old towels and sheets with holes in them- nothing matched so we ended up using twin sheets for some of the full size beds. I had to email owners twice to get the code for the linen closets as no linen was set out and then it was a guessing game as to which sheets went with which bed. The bathrooms were old and could have been cleaner. Also there are only 4 passes to the community center- making it so that 6 of us had to shell out an additional $10 each day to use the pool area. Also the owners think it is ok to have a security camera on while you are vacationing in their home- they do disclose this but only when they sent me the instructions which was less than a week before my stay- you do have the option to disconnect it (this shouldn't even be an option!!!)

Couple of positive things about this stay- one was the price- but in the future I rather spend more money for comfort!!

2nd the community center pool area was a great place to spend time with kids and family. We stayed 4th of July wknd and there were bands playing and the firework display was enjoyed by all.

This has been the second successful stay at this same house. We really enjoy this home, and its surroundings. Everyone had an amazing time. This is our home away from home! Looking forward to a third trip to this house in the summer!

Nice, peaceful home with fantastic scenery

  • 4 of 5

We stayed during fall foliage week and the view from the porch was breathtaking. Overall this house was very comfortable and spacious. It was a little hard to find, and we needed our GPS to get us there, but on the plus side, being in a remote location meant enjoying a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Natalia, the owner, was very accommodating and responsive. We emailed her numerous times with questions before and during our stay, and she was very quick to reply each and every time. The one thing we'd do differently next time is bring our own linens and towels. We paid extra for those but found out once we arrived that we were responsible for sorting through the linen closet, finding matching bedding sets, and making our own beds. That said, we would still come back and rent this home again. The price we paid for the house itself was very reasonable given how large it is, and we had a good experience overall.
