Fabulous home in a quiet corner of the island
We had a really lovely time here. Definitely rent a car so you can get the most out of the island. Hosts were very communicative, place is really well furnished, and it’s super quiet. We loved our stay, it truly felt like a home away from home!

Great Place to Stay!
This is a great place to stay on the island for several reasons. It is in a quiet section of the island which allowed for easy parking with a flat, small driveway and no traffic noise for sleeping. The roosters were the only noise that bothered us (which you will probably find everywhere on the island) and that was easily taken care of by closing the windows at night and sleeping with the air conditioner in the room. The back yard is a gardeners paradise, with beautiful plants and trees, humming birds and the occasional deer showing up. Although there is no view of the water, the view is still amazing with mountains surrounding the entire property. We were able to walk to a few restaurants and souvenir shops which was really nice after driving to beaches during the day. It is a short drive to several beaches on the north, east and south end of the island, and we enjoyed exploring a new beach each day. The owners were wonderful, showing us the house when we first got there and giving us some amazing suggestions of where to go. The place was very clean, and beach chairs, swimming noodles, a cooler and beach towels were all provided which were all extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we return to St. John!

Could not recommend Mark’s place more highly! Its got beautiful grounds, a comfortable living space, convenient and quiet location, and great hosts. Mark was very easy to communicate with throughout our stay and kind. We would never go anywhere else!
