About this property

This beautiful 1-bed flat is on the lower ground floor in a historic early 18th century house. It provides an oasis of calm in the centre of the city. It is spacious for two people sharing a double bed.
It is located in Soho close to theatres, galleries, restaurants etc. Within easy walking distance are: the British Museum, National Gallery, Covent Garden, Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace and the big London parks such as St James's and Regents.
There is excellent public transport with three tube stations close by: Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road. The new Elizabeth Line runs directly from Heathrow to Tottenham Court Road from where it is a 3 minute walk to the flat.
The flat is on the Lower floor of the house ( basement) of a historic (circa 1700') Queen Anne house in Soho.
It is newly refurbished and has wood panelling in all the rooms + wooden floors.

The living room /open kitchen area has 3 large windows which let the daylight in and contains a flat screen TV+ Wifi..
The modern kitchen includes washing machine, small fridge freezer, electric oven and hob.
The bedroom contains a double bed and chest of drawers.
The bathroom comprises a bath with a hand held shower attachment.

The flat is furnished with a mixture of antique and modern furniture and has beautiful wooden floors with oriental rug.

Soho is a lively area at night but the street is relatively quiet as is the flat ( the bedroom is located at the back).

Great location but.........

Apartment was as advertised however being a basement apartment it was very dark and dank. The frustrating front door lock proved a daily challenge. The metal stairs from street level to apartment were hazardous and we soon realized that basement living was definately not for us.

Perfect flat in Soho

Jane's place is perfect - it has a lovely bedroom, lounge with kitchen and a bathroom. It is very spacious and the photo's don't show how beautiful it is. We were very comfortable and warm and the location is outstanding. Despite the busy location the flat is quiet. The host is generous too - we'd been in Spain where the accommodation had hardly any toilet paper, no milk on arrival, awful beds and sheets etc - so in this place we felt very spoiled. Donna

Soho stay

Clean, tidy and excellent location. The property was within walking distance to the underground and many major attractions. Eating and meals were easy as stores were nearby and an abundance of eateries located within the block. Hosts were friendly, helpful and communication was simple. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Living in Soho

Once I got used to the overall vibe of the place (Soho) after living in country Australia for so long, it all fell into place, the area is buzzing all the time, and is so convenient for just about everything, had forgotten what is was like to have upstairs neighbours clumping about, but had a good nights sleep every time, would use it again...….NO Problem !!

Can’t beat this apartment for location. In the heart of Soho you can venture by foot practically anywhere. There is a local grocery store around the corner as well as numerous pubs and cafes. The apartment is exactly as pictured. Well appointed with everything to make your stay enjoyable. The bed is comfortable and provides a good night sleep. The only thing i would say is , if you are a lite sleeper you may find the street noise on a Friday and Saturday night to be unsettling. If you have mobility issues this apartment is not for you as access is down a narrow flight of stairs from street level. Flora answered any questions promptly . This apartment was great for our stay and the location can’t be beaten.
