Awesome property, excellent, personal customer service

  • 5 of 5

My college friends and I (class of 92' FYI...all in our mid-late forties) have been doing an annual East ski trip for 21 years at 15 different mountains (some multiple times) and we all agreed this was tied with a place at Jay for #1. What is it about Vermont...? And we're from Maine..we have good ski places too...It had the best views from the house (2 walls of glass w/views of the trails), an awesome open-concept living room with big reclining couches, refinished bathrooms, two levels, and a wrap around deck. And a fireplace. The best part about this place was the personal service you get from the Owner (Randy), who really goes the extra mile to answer questions and really make sure you are all set for your stay. In the oh-so-automated world we now live in, it was super refreshing to know you were being personally taken care of on your vacation, right from the beginning.

Sugarbush was great as well...plus they had a pay-by-the-day health club.

We will be coming back here.

A Wintry Long Weekend in VT

  • 4 of 5

This property was perfect for us. Even when it was too cold for us to ski, the amazing view of the mountain allowed us to enjoy watching the braver skiers. The house and location were just what we were looking for - reminded us of many other New England downhill ski trips. We were cozy and comfortable. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Only regrets had nothing to do with the rental - the ski conditions were not the best - limited snow and super-cold and windy weather. Missed the opportunity to ski-in/ski-out!

Great old fashioned Ski House!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for School break and had a great week of skiing. The house is comfortable, clean, and roomy with amazing views and so close to the skiing! Its nothing fancy, but that works great for us. We cooked all of our meals, and the kitchen and eating areas were sufficient for the 9 of us. A special bonus- If you are there when there are fireworks, you have front row seats! Randy is an awesome host and was so helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!!

A great place ideally situated. The windows provide a wonderful panaromic view.

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was truly as advertised with ample room and amenities making our 4 days in the area truly special. We were able to snowshoe right out of the driveway and other activities were just a short drive away. We would highly recommend this chalet to anyone looking to stay in the Sugarbush area.

Cozy!

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed at Randy's home over Thanksgiving. It was large and cozy, with a fully stocked kitchen, a nice wood stove, a large wrap around deck (with views), and a great hill for sledding. Randy was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our time there very much! Thank you!
