Farm stay for single travellers (ensuite) - 5 min to Margaret River town centre

If you enjoy nature, this is a farm 5 mins south of Margaret River, we are on the rails to trails (walking/cycling) so an easy 15 min walk or 7 min bicycle ride to town. Kangaroos, bunnies, birds and a couple of Alpacas on the property. Relaxed, rustic, friendly vibe. Our focus is on ensuring that single travellers can comfortably and safely experience this beautiful region.

The room is spotless and separate to the main farmhouse - 3/4 mattress with bathroom ensuite. Lovely verandah area outside your room to eat your meals and watch the bird life.

This property is 15min drive to the famous Surfers Point and Rivermouth, 30 min to Hamelin Bay to see the stingrays and the caves are nearby too. 5 min to Voyager and Leeuwin Wines Estates. Redgate beach 10 minutes away.

Pat was very helpful and offered lifts to and from town (only short distance by car) a number of times. I would recommend a car to get around Margaret River and to and from this accommodation. The room is small but the bed is comfortable. Good water pressure and shower head. Sitting on verandah and listening to the wind in the trees was nice. The room next door feels very close, the resident was lovely but I felt like we could hear each other all the time.

Simple and relaxing

I had a very relaxing 5-day stay. The accommodation is compact, basic, but comfortable. The facilities are as per the photos: bed, microwave, bar fridge, effective reverse cycle air con, bathroom, some cupboards, hooks for hanging clothes. I brought in an outside chair so I could choose to relax indoors or on the porch.

A little piece of paradise

I had a lovely stay. My room was very basic but very clean and comfortable. I didn't have a car, and I was able to get lots of walking in. Pat was amazing and very obliging, she picked me up from the bus stop and dropped me off when it was time to leave. Pat took me to the supermarket to get some supplies and offered to drop me into town if I didn't want to walk, and she kindly dropped me off down at the beach and picked me up.

Lovely stay close to town

I really enjoyed my stay on this property. You can easily walk in to the city (takes around 35 mins) and you can get around by taxi easy. Nice little cottage. I’ll be back. Thank you! Really nice host!
