Restful spot
The house is set in a lovely hillside with trees with nice proximity to shops in Mariposa and close to Yosemite. It was especially nice to enjoy the pool in the heat of the afternoon! The house was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed.

We are a San Francisco family who love the outdoors and majestic beauty of our country. We have enjoyed this area for the last 25 years and love sharing with all of our guests.

Why they chose this property

We built this home ourselves in 1992.It is built on 3 acres and although there are a few houses in the area, the property is completely private. It is a solidly built home with pine wainscoating and ceilings. It has hardwood floors throughout. We adopted a Native American theme to remind us of our closeness to the earth. Our pool is fed my an underground aquifer with silky soft water. The hot tub is delicious at the end of a busy day.The Mariposa area is beautiful, quiet , magical, and of course close to Yosemite. Our family enjoys the many possibilities for activity in the area, but most of all it is a phenomenal place to relax.

What makes this property unique

We love walking and hiking in the area.. The quiet and the privacy are precious. The starry skies and peaceful warm nights are very special to this location. We have a good book . With a pool and hot tub , what more do you need?
