This apartment's highly secure and tranquil layout as well as modern design, in a location offering the ideal balance of comfortable residential, convenient commercial, and safe entertainment living set the stage for a memorable visit to Washington, DC.

Designed with a focus on security, visitors will feel safe and secure day and night on the well light street with large sideways. Each tenant is given their own individual access code, which is generated on the combination code entrance lock and only valid during the period of their stay. This ensures only the current occupants will have access to the property and their is no risk of others duplicating keys so access can be obtained later. The property is equipped with a 24 hour exterior surveillance monitoring system that records, captures and tracks external activity. The apartment's dual entries provide enhanced security by inserting two locked doors between the exterior element and the secure safe apartment. All exterior windows are also equipped with a security system to ensure the safety of you and your belongings. The kitchen distinguishes itself as a gourmet facility with it's modern appliances, granite counter tops, under counter lights, and ceramic tile back splashes. This apartment represents the best value for someone visiting DC for a period longer than one or two nights and wants to experience the city in the midst of the action. Mother/Daughter DC Adventure 2014

We arrived on a rainy afternoon, Erling met us and took us on a walk around the neighborhood. He was a wonderful host and shared lots of little tips about how to get around town, suggestions about places to eat, shop, etc... The apartment was clean and cozy! Plenty of room for us and with all the amenities we needed. Just moved in, add a few groceries and it felt like we were at home - only right down the street was the White House! THe metro was so easy and efficient! We did walk down to the National Mall one day - that was fun and it only took about 1/2 hour. Erling invited us for breakfast on our last day... He is a perfect host and we'd love to stay with him again! Thank you for a perfect homebase!

Great location, great place, great owner

I have stayed at several rentals through VRBO, in several countries, and this has to be one of my favorites. Erling was very helpful throughout our stay and it was very nice to have the owner in the same building. For an historic building the apartment was very comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. What was really great though was the location. There were several very nice places to eat within a 2 block radius. A short walk to the Metro and certainly walkable distance to most places one would want to go. The neighborhood was safe and friendly and made for very enjoyable walking. While more than 2 persons could be a little close, it is perfect for 2. I would happily return to this apartment for my next trip to DC.

The best choice I could have made

Erling was a wonderful and accommodating host. I arrived to DC late at night and he was able to meet me and show me around the neighborhood. This place is so close to everything, yet T Street is relatively quiet and comfortable. I can't wait to come back and book this place again!

Great place in Washington DC

I stayed 5 days in Washington DC on my own at Erling's house. I lived in the apartment on the first floor, which was very comfortable and well decorated. The location was convenient to get around in the city. There is a metro station 5 minutes away that enables you to go quickly to the main monuments and museums. Erling has been a friendly host with me. We had a breakfast and dinner together and he gave me a lot of tips to visit the city. I really enjoyed the neighborhood, which has a young and dynamic athmosphere. You will find plently of bars and clubs around if you want to go out at night. I will definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone willing to have a great time in DC.

Highly recommended and will return when at DC next time

I had a very positive experience, the location was extremely convenient and safe, close to many points of interest, grocery stores and a metro station, which for DC is always a plus. The owner was very friendly, helpful and provide very good customer service, made himself available for any challenges if any, very courteous and gave a really good tour on foot of the vicinity. I will definitely consider staying there with my family in the future. I would recommend to others for sure. The unit was very clean and maintened, big eough for three but not more.
