About this property

LITTLE WHITE SHACK on the beach, Hardwicke Bay, Yorke Peninsular

LITTLE WHITE SHACK

Located on the sand dunes overlooking Hardwicke Bay our shack is absolute beach front with no road between you and the beach. While soaking up the 180-degree water views on the deck you can watch the kids playing on the beach or swimming in the shallow child friendly waters.

If you love a walk or drive on the beach, you’ll find a 15km stretch of unspoilt white sandy coastline to explore all the way to Port Turton just outside your front door. For those who like to go boating or fishing Hardwicke bay boasts some of the best squid and whiting fishing in SA.

The original fisherman’s shack has recently been renovated while still maintaining its “shack” feel and has an open living area integrated into the kitchen. Large stainless-steel bench tops and sink form the backbone of the kitchen and offer expansive bench space for food preparation. The kitchen is decked out with all modern appliances and high-quality chef knives, utensils, cutlery and crockery.
The sleeping quarters (2 adults and 4 children, 6 people in total) consist of 3 bedrooms the main with a queen size bed and 2 bunk rooms with a single bunk bed in each room.

Guests are asked to provide all towels, top and bottom bed sheets; Pillows, quilts and covers are provided for all beds.

*****If necessary, towels and sheets can be provided at a cost of $25/Bed.*****
*****An extra pet cleaning fee may be charged depending on the condition of the shack on departure.******

Perfection!
Absolutely Perfect! The location was amazing with a view to die for. The range of blues in the ocean from aqua to deep blue were captivating. Photos do not do the view justice. Absolute beach front and easy walk down to the beach and water. The veranda was protected from the wind with mid morning to afternoon sun & side deck captured the morning sun. We spent hours on the deck. The house was fitted out well, comfortable and had a great atmosphere. Beds & furniture were very comfortable. Ye Olde Cafe is great place for breakfast 20min down the road at Minlaton & nice Taverns at Point Turton & Marion Bay. The shack is also fully equipped to self cater. Thanks Ben, the stay at your shack really made our holiday!

Amazing little white shack
Exactly as described. You had everything you needed. We stayed when temp was nearly 40 degrees and the split system worked a treat. Beds comfortable. Great lounging space. Deck was absolutely brilliant to watch the scenery, tides, sunrises and sunsets. Cooked up chilli mussels and sat on the outdoor table eating and drinking, life doesn't get much better than that! Awesome memories made!! Our little group including my dog Murphy loved our stay and would give it an 12 out of 10.
