Photos and Description of this Beacon Hill holiday condo

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

Enjoy a short break in Boston in an elegant and historic building. Our building has recently undergone a $3m. renovation to recreate the splendor of the original Hotel Bellevue, in the 1890's. The location is perfect -- on Boston's famous Beacon Hill, in the heart of Government Center.

Our unit has hardwood parquet flooring, 13 foot ceilings, chandelier, floor to ceiling windows, bay windows in bedroom overlooking State House garden. Granite kitchen, marble bathroom, 2 Flat-screen TVs (45' in living room). High speed internet plus Wifi.

Step outside the beautifully furnished unit and enjoy the many restaurants, and cultural attractions of Boston. Relax on our large roof garden with views of the State House, Charles River, and Boston Common.

We have a wonderful time. boston, can't say enough about the beauty of the area. The history that we saw amazing!!! Your location in the heart of the city. Could not ask for more. Sat up on the roof top. Drank wine, ate cheese and crackers at sunset! What a view!

My husband and I recently stayed for a week in this ample sized apartment while in town for work and visiting our college kids in the area. It is not fancy, but perfect for 2 people. The living room does have a large sleeper sofa for 1 or 2 more. However, be aware that the one bathroom is in the bedroom. King bed in bedroom is extremely comfortable with ample linens provided. Small kitchen perfect for breakfast prep and meal warming, but not set up for serious cooking. With all the great restaurants nearby, we ate out for dinner anyway ! Availability of laundry in the building (small fee) is a plus and very convenient. Very secure building. Three minute walk to the Park Street T station for both the red and green lines. Very easy walk to most major sites for touring the city. Communication with the owner was extremely easy and pleasant. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Jonathan !

Great apartment in the middle of everything

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was great- clean, light, and had everything we needed. The view from the roof deck was amazing. We could walk to everything-- next to the Commons, a few blocks from Quincy Market. Definitely recommend.

Great location to explore Boston from

  • 5 of 5

A spacious apartment for two that could accommodate 4 with the use of the sofa bed. Great location on Beacon hill, only minutes from Boston Common and the Subway, with a lot of the city within walking distance. The apartment is on the 3rd floor above a bar, so there is some noise from outside into the evening, but not enough to disturb us excessively. The apartment has a small kitchen with a proper cooker, a microwave, and a selection of other appliances and general pots and pans, so you can prepare meals if you want to. The apartment is located in a building with a doorman, and a main door with a key fob entry, so felt very safe and secure. Likewise the neighbourhood outside felt perfectly safe.

We enjoyed our time here, and would stay again.

Lovely apartment, wonderful location.

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed in this lovely apartment in Beacon Hill, Boston. The apartment is located in the best area of this beautiful city. We were able to walk everywhere. We parked out car in the car park under Boston Common and did not need to use it during our 4 day stay. Boston Common and Public Gardens were across the road. Newbury Street with its shops and restaurants nearby, and the delightful Charles Street village a few minute walk away. Don't miss the coffee and pastries at Tatte Bakery in Charles Street...we had breakfast there everyday and often returned for coffee and cake when we we were running out of energy!! The apartment itself was perfect, Very nicely furnished, comfortable and very safe and secure with a doorman at the entrance. Jonathan, our host, was very attentive, checking that we had all we needed. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to other visitors to Boston. We would love to go back. Sally, Alan and Zoë.
