The property was awesome! Super cute and just what we needed for KU Moms weekend. The stairs from back are a little scary but overall great property!

Campus Visit

First time in Lawrence for a college visit with my son, daughter and hubs. The loft on Mass was perfect! The four of us had plenty of space, kids had their own rooms (which is required for my sanity) and the location was ideal! So close to campus and also so much to see and do right out the front door! If KU makes the cut, we'll definitely look to stay here again!

Book it!!

We had such a great experience. Location is absolutely perfect. The VRBO is so nice and has everything you need. Communication could not have been better. We will book again if we are back in Lawrence!

Historic Ernst Property. This was originally Hosford Investments Savings and Loan building in the early 1900’s. The Ernst family had a hardware business next door in 1905-2018. The family now runs a property management company at 826 Massachusetts. This property is managed by Lynda and Lisa daughter's of the owner, Rod Ernst. Our STR License number is 20-00002

Why they chose this property

Steeped in history, this building has maintained many of the original historical elements. The four huge windows overlooking the street have been the center of many historical pictures. Watching a parade from one of the windows is a must. Shop until you drop and return to the comforts of our loft. We are surrounded by restaurants with outdoor seating. We are a licensed STR in the City of Lawrence.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location. This is the heart of downtown Lawrence with coffee shops, restaurants and breweries within walking. Everything is steps or minutes away including the University of Kansas. Buses are located a block away.
