About Mike Richards
We love to spend time as a family in southern Utah. We hope you'll experience as many precious family moments in Duck Creek Village as we have!
Mike Richards purchased this Cabin in 2007
Why Mike Richards chose Duck Creek Village
Our family discovered Duck Creek Village over a decade ago while exploring Bryce Canyon and Zions National Park. We fell in love with it's peaceful charm. We knew it was a place where we'd want to spend a lot of time together as a family. Building a family cabin made perfect sense. We have loved getting away to the mountain as often as possible.
What makes this Cabin unique
Some things we love about the cabin are it's proximity to ATV trails that lead to fantastic overlooks and wander through beautiful national forest land. We enjoy fishing at four pristine lakes that are close by and exploring interesting places like caves, water falls, slot canyons, lakes and streams. At the end of fun filled days it's always enjoyable to sit around the camp fire and talk about the good times.
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Address is messed up compared to street signs and google maps, otherwise a fantastic place to stay.
The best trip our group of friends ever had, to the fires at night to the location and to renting the razors and having a blast. Definitely recommend this cabin.
Cabin just ok
It’s a beautiful and spacious cabin, however my friends and I were not impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin, excessive amounts of dust on all the furniture, blinds and vents. No decor on walls, no homey touches, run down furniture and a unstocked cabin with basics like toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher soap and something to clean the counters or bathrooms with. Owner blew me off when I suggested some things in an email. Other than that we did enjoy our stay and had an amazing time in Duckcreek Village.
Can’t wait to visit again
My family and I love staying at this cabin, this is the third time. The place is wonderful and can’t wait to go back.
We had 3 families stay for a week. Plenty of room, great communication with the owner. Awesome to be out of the Vegas heat. Cabin has plenty pots and pans and utensils to cook with. The kids enjoyed running around outside, a new adventure every day.
We had an amazing time. Cabin was as advertised. Michael was very helpful. Would stay here again!
Duck Creek Village: Year round recreation is enjoyed by many in the Duck Creek Village area. It is an ideal vacation spot for your entire family. With the elevation ranging between 8,500 and 11,000 feet, the summers are nice and cool, and the winters are cozy and peaceful. You can enjoy yourself by fishing the clear lakes and streams, hiking the trails through the pine and aspen trees, bicycling, horseback riding, boating and ATV riding in the summer. Visiting Navajo Lake, Duck Creek Pond, Aspen Mirror Lake and Panguitch Lake can be a relaxing escape from the big city life.
Some of America's most beautiful National Parks are located in all directions. Plan a road trip to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, or Cedar Breaks National Monument.
