My wife and I travel frequently around the country and world but agree that Phoenix is 'home'. We love the active downtown lifestyle and culture and arts scene in Phoenix, as well as the fantastic weather and gorgeous outdoor wonderland that is Arizona! We look forward to sharing our enthusiasm about this city and State with you during your visit!
Kenneth Steiness purchased this townhome in 2010
The home is within walking distance to many popular downtown sports, music and theater venues. In addition, our place is an entertainer's dream and we've hosted many fun events here ourselves. Guests can enjoy all that the city has to offer without worrying about parking or driving home. A stay at this residence allows you to experience Phoenix in style!
The 'First Friday' and 'Third Friday' art walks are amazing with thousands of people in the streets and artists showing their latest works in the nearby galleries. Street performers come out in force and the talent at the local music venues is amazing. Neighborhood coffee shops, open air market place and 'local first' events gives a great sense of community in a big city.
We are Arizona "snowbirds" and decided to try a winter season in downtown Phoenix last year, from November to April. This lovely condo was our winter "home" and proved to be as comfortable as we had anticipated. The kitchen is modern, quite large, and well-equiped. Our family of 3 had more than enough room. We fully enjoyed the top floor loft and patio and loved the ability to walk to many restaurants, bars, the movie theater, etc. Kenneth was quickly available the couple of times that we needed assistance (locking ourselves out once... oops) and was very helpful with everything that we needed. If we hadn't decided to buy a new condo of our own downtown, we would definitely stay here again next winter! Strongly recommend.
My co workers and I stayed in the town home for a long weekend while attending a work conference. The town home was amazing. We could walk to the convention center and there were great places to eat all around. We really didn't need to drive much at all. As for the town home, it had everything we needed and it was great having so much space! We would for sure stay here again when in Phoenix
I stayed in this Town Home for almost a week as I was attending a conference in the downtown convention centre. It was a very pleasant stay. The townhouse was very clean upon my arrival. The owner had put a fresh bag of coffee right next to the coffee maker. A tiny little detail that only made my day much better, especially after a long flight. For one person this place is huge and it easily fits a family of 4 adults or more.
In the neighborhood you will find cozy little coffee shops, restaurant and bars.
Furthermore the place is central to the downtown area. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to the downtown area.
Enjoyed the view and the location! But if you don't like steps this isn't the house for you. The carpets are badly stained; probably from everybody carrying food and drink up to the top patio. Also...only 1 TV isn't enough for our family of 4, and the bed in the spare room sinks in the middle so you have to sleep on the left or right edge and try not to roll to the center. But we enjoyed the week....
4 of us adults stayed in this unit (7 days) for super bowl 49. the unit was very well kept and comfortable the our group. upon arrival there was sufficient information about the surrounding area to get us started. there are many fun local restaurants, bars, clubs within walking distance some just around the corner. if you are in need of healthy meal (1am greasy burger and fries) with a interesting atmosphere you must hit the Welcome Diner. pretty much anything you would want or need is in walking distance of the unit, there is also a tram that could expand you footprint that is very clean and reasonably priced,
I would definitely recommend this place the area has a lot to offer, bring your walking shoes.
