Hale Wa'a - House of the Canoe - 2 Bed/2 Bath, 5 minute walk to secluded beach!

Hale Wa'a is a 2 story guest house that is located on the same property as our main house. The houses are completely separate to provide complete privacy. You can enjoy ocean views from the master bedroom lanai and there is a secluded beach about a 5 minute walk away; best for walking on not swimming. Popular attractions such as Waikiki, Hanauma Bay, & Chinatown are within a 15 minute drive away.

Once in a lifetime
House of the Canoe was exactly as described and Quinten was a wonderful host. The accommodations were perfect for our 8 day vacation on Oahu. Perfect residential location, close to everything. We would definitely stay again.

Great 2 BR near Honolulu
We loved this property. Its very well maintained and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki to be much more relaxing. Its in a quiet 'suburban-feeling' neighborhood. Two distinct bedrooms that can accommodate a family of 4. Wish we could have stayed longer :)

Father Daughter Adventure
This was our second visit to Oahu. We wanted to stay near Waikīkī but outside of tourist zone. House is in a lovely residential neighborhood with great access to anything you need or want to do. Fantastic amenities, comfortable beds, close to shopping center and walking beach. Easy access to downtown as well as highways to take you east, west and north. Host was super responsive and shared a lot of great information about restaurants, music venues and nearby markets. It was just two of us, but the place is set up to accommodate families with great beach gear and a cabinet full of games and puzzles.

Wonderful Honolulu.
The place is pristinely clean! Just as described, property is well located and laid out. Host is very accommodating and even had snacks for our arrival! If you’re coming yo town to be close to Waikīkī, but staying away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place!

My name is Quinten and I was born and raised here Oahu. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2015 in LA with a degree in Entrepreneurship and International Business. I worked as an English Language teacher for a bit here in Oahu while helping my mom renovate the guest house we are now offering on Airbnb. I personally shy away from the beaches here ironically, but I do know the right spots to go; its inevitable to go to the beach growing up and living here. I also have many good recommendations for hikes, places to eat, and other sightseeing spots. The best part about running a vacation rental thus far has been introducing our guests to our cats, dog, and turtle. I am also still hoping to challenge a guest in a ping pong match as we have a table in our main house. I'm also somewhat of a connoisseur of anime so I would love to hear any shows you are a fan of as well :D

We provide amazing ocean views from the Lanai and you can enjoy the light trade winds coming in provide the perfect environment to relax.

I love taking a walking around the quiet neighborhood. Waialae Iki park is a short 1 minute walk away where you can enjoy the playground equipment and 2 basketball courts. There is also a huge field for running and exercise

The beach across the street is only a 5 minute walk away!
