Fairfax is a small quaint town which has kept its original flavor and offers family as well as gourmet restaurants, a 6 movie theaters, 4 live music venues, gorgeous hikes and an Eldorado of biking trails (as a matter of fact Fairfax claims to be the cradle of mountain biking), farmers market and lots of small shops where treasures can still be found.
This town has its own way of making you feel at home with its people walking and chatting in the streets, particularly around the downtown's Coffee Roastery. The typical Fairfaxian life style is casual and relaxed.

This is a beautiful hillside property offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. The neighborhood is friendly and slow paced, minutes away from hiking trails overlooking the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our family loved this home, and Thomas, the host!

We had a lovely time at this vrbo. Thomas was extremely kind and accommodating, and we would recommend this place to anyone interested in a vrbo in this area. You can't go wrong, here! We will definitely be back.

Enchantée !!!

Nous avons passé une semaine chez Thomas, et nous sommes réellement enchantés.L'appartement correspond exactement aux photos et je dirais même mieux. Celui-ci est décoré avec goût et est très confortable. Nous étions 4 adultes et nous étions parfaitement à l'aise dans cet appartement très bien équipé. Nous avons aussi profité de la jolie terrasse. Le matin le soleil se lève directement face a cette terrasse, MAGNIFIQUE. Nous avons aussi très bien dormi, la literie est de très bonne qualité et nous étions dans un quartier très calme. Nous avons apprécié les petites attention de Thomas et de son épouse. De très jolies fleurs fraiches et une bouteille de vin nous attendaient. La cuisine est très bien équipée et il y a même quelques courses qui étaient dans le frigo ( eau , beurre ,lait) du thé du café. Suffisant pour notre 1er petit déjeuner américain. En attendant de faire nos courses. les magasins sont proches et bien fournis. Nous étions à 20 mn de San Francisco. Et proches de beaucoup de jolies balades Nous remercions Thomas et son épouse pour leur accueil et si l'occasion se représente nous reviendrons. A bientôt Dominique et sa famille

Fantastic little place. Perfect for me and my young adult children. Great location!

if you are a TV watcher (like my family is), be sure to have your own means of watching. It wasn't something i was concerned about checking before arrival, but found out when i got there that there were no TVs. However, we were VERY busy with travel so it didn't matter too much, but i do like to watch TV to wind down. But all in all, hands down a great place to stay!!!! one FOREWARNING. do NOT mistake the salt for sugar! LOL... makes for a YUCKY coffee! I'd be more than happy to stay here again! Clean, convenient, fantastic views

Thomas was very easy to coordinate with. The home itself is clean and comfortable and was outfitted with fresh fruit, flowers, bottled water, and a nice bottle of wine. The balcony has stunning views! Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect spot for our family reunion. Relaxed, superbly well equipped property with great balcony.

Tomas and Anita's attention to detail was clear to see. Spotlessly clean rooms, large bedrooms and comfortable main living room with loads of space if the weather wasn't so good outside ...... but Marin County did not disappoint, so the east facing balcony was just perfect for a sunny breakfast or to enjoy the evening's view across the valley enjoying a glass of wine in the cooling air. We even got to use the BBQ in the garden area down the hill. Everything you could possibly want in the kitchen and bathroom. Even fruit and a bottle of wine left, milk & butter in the fridge and the ice tray full in the freezer. A few books and magazines and plenty to catch up on with our globetrotting Son, and we didn't even notice there was no TV. Really can't speak highly enough about this great place. We used it as a base to explore Tiburon, Sausalito, the vineyards to the north east and of course into San Francisco. We wouldn't hesitate to book it again if we come back to this lovely area of CA. Thanks
