The home has 4 bedrooms - The main floor has 2 bedrooms, full bath, living room and country kitchen that features an expandable table for those old fashion home style meals. Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Tom

We all enjoyed your friendly hospitality.

Your home is warm and inviting.

Thank you for the fire Sat. night.

We sat there for a long time while Connor and Keely played with Duke.

We learned a lot about maple syrup and were happy to buy some to take home to family.

All in all it was a perfect place to celebrate Connor's 12th birthday.

We hope to return again.

Thanks from all of us

The entire property is beautiful and the house was very clean and nicely furnished. Our family enjoyed the house and the grounds. Our grandkids loved fishing from the pond.

Wonderful Experience!!!

  • 5 of 5

There were 8 of us adults staying at this property. Plenty of space for all of us! It had just about everything provided that a person would need! Beautiful property!! We took advantage of the hiking, fishing, cornhole, & fire ring. Terry was very nice and extremely helpful in making our stay perfect!! We came home with many great memories that we'll hold onto forever!! I would highly recommend this property!

Great place for a family get together

  • 5 of 5

The place has a great setting. The kids loved fishing in the lake, and the entire family enjoyed hiking through the woods. The kitchen was large for eating and the preparation of meals.

Guys Trip to the Mohican!

  • 5 of 5

We did a guys trip for my "bachelor party" to Maplewood Farm. I wanted to do something more low key and relaxed for my bachelor party instead of the typical city thing. The property was amazing, and the owner was helpful in every way. The pond was excellent for fishing, the scenery was beautiful and the house and its features were accommodating for all of us. We couldn't have asked for a better place for this once in a lifetime trip. We did some golfing and canoeing, and the rest of the time, we hung out at the house and grilled out and played yard games. Great place, and would recommend to everyone!

Better than the photos

  • 5 of 5

A group of us were getting away for the weekend to hike and canoe in Mohican and enjoy the area. The cabins in the area were mostly booked up so I found this place. From the pictures it looked nice but a little nervous about it being a farmhouse as you never know how it's been maintained. Well, as soon as I walked on the property I realized it was a great setting and really cared for. Terrific views of Pleasant Valley, the pond, and well maintained property. The property (inside and out) is well maintained and really the perfect setting for a group traveling together. When we're back in the area I will choose this over a cabin every time. Great experience.

A lifetime Memory you can't forget

  • 5 of 5

We, the JFS gang of 9+ from Columbus had very good time at this place. Terry (owner) has been very friendly and nice to show us everything this place can offer. Beautiful setting in a 260+ acres and so quite with birds singing early morning and it's the nicest vacation getaway for all of us. We have enjoyed every moment doing hiking, walking, cook out, spending time fishing in the nicely maintained pond, playing cards in the shelter.

The cabin is an old one but everything is maintained very nicely and everything works including all 3 baths. This place has everything you need including all the trash bags, utensils in the kitchen and all kinds of towels/blankets. Cabin may be old but it's maintained so well and you won't miss anything including WIFI. It reminded us "OLD IS GOLD".

We can't forget the precious moments we had at this place so we are coming back with families this time. I am sure Kids from all age groups have something outside to do and its a best vacation you don't want to miss in Ohio. Best part of all, the owner is very understandable and we were able to reach him anytime of the day. He has provided firelogs too at free of cost so that we don't have to know where to buy them at the last hour.

Very close to Walmart, many restaurant places and also 10 minutes from Mohican Park where you can do the canoeing etc.

I give this place a 9.99 out of 10 stars

Thanks again Terry for providing us with a best experience!
