Great location for us close to Loyola
Helpful host, was right there for any question or problems. Could not have asked for a better host. He was a jewel.
Nicely appointed flat in a quiet neighborhood, close to the Red Line, stores, restaurants, and Lake Michigan. Would stay there again
You’ll feel you’ve arrived!
We had a meaningful and warm family reunion in this elegant brownstone with Rogers Park charm!
Thank you June. We are so glad you enjoyed our rental unit. Please come again!
Warm and Welcoming
From our initial contact with Gary we knew we had picked the right place to stay. A couple days before our arrival we had a special request which Gary graciously accommodated. The apartment is beautiful and furnished with everything needed for a worry free getaway.
Great Location - Great Place
I stayed here for 4 nights with my daughter in the fall. Gary was there to greet us and give us a tour and the place was spotless. It had everything we needed (including maps and an extra umbrella). The location was great, just a short walk to restaurants and the El train. I highly recommend.

About Gary Ward
Hi, Aitor and I are married professionals living and working in Chicago. He works in sales for an international group of luxury hotels, and I do professional digital imaging (photography) and motion (video). We're both big movie/film buffs and love classic and contemporary cinema and hanging out with our very sweet and gentle 7 pound Chihuahua mix. Aitor is a fluent Spanish speaker if that's of any help.
Gary Ward purchased this Apartment in 2010
Why Gary Ward chose Rogers Park
This beautiful vintage building built in 1916 has been meticulously maintained and updated for a century. We live in the 1st floor unit, and are personally committed to an outstanding guest experience. The neighborhood is great, near the "L", the beach and Loyola University, with all the shopping, restaurants and businesses that go along with supporting the students, staff and residents.
What makes this Apartment unique
If you like a clean, contemporary interior in a gracious, well cared-for vintage building, you are going to love this unit! It was fully remodeled and rehabbed in 2016 and the furniture and accessories have been carefully selected for your comfort. This unit has a nice, large balcony with lovely views of our tree-lined street, great for relaxing on our chaise-lounges in the warmer months. This is NOT a corporate-owned, cookie cutter property. As on-site owners, we personally selected everything in the unit for beauty, harmony, and the comfort of our guests.
