Your host Jeffrey Beeman I've owned my Casita de Chuparosa B & B style Vacation home for 14 ½ years (Since Jan 2005 with over 550+ reviews here on VRBO and other rental sites). I love meeting all the wonderful guests who have stayed here, so many repeat guests return year after year, and many are now very close friends. I'm an animal lover, I have a horse, Mini donkeys & alpacas. Corgi and Terrier. Also an avid hiker, mountain bike rider, healthy vegan and love traveling to Panama and Mexico frequently, hoping to build a Eco friendly , Off Grid, Vegan Bed and Breakfast there. within the next few years. Moved to Abiquiu 14 ½ years ago after living in Santa Fe for 3 years, Moved to New Mexico from San Francisco 18 years ago, I lived there for 10 years, several years on my sailboat at the San Francisco Marina and also in Sausalito. I also lived at the Sea Ranch on the Sonoma Coast (owned & operated a Kayak Tour, Rental & Outiftters shop) for 10 years and Santa Barbara for 10 years. I'm available as a hiking or area guide on foot, car or horseback! I caretake for my Mother Marilyn here next to Casita de Chuparosa, she's in her 80's and she keeps all the bird feeders and water bowls filled in the front court yard year-round at Casita de Chuparosa, 1000's of birds visit every day. We live next door to Casita de Chuparosa in our main house and keep a very low profile and are only around when you need anything/anytime. If you do want to chat, we love to meet our guests and can provide you will anything you would like to know about and see and do in Abiquiu and for those thinking about moving to Abiquiu, we can tell you all the ins and outs, pros and cons, what it's like to live here! Everyone is welcome at Casita de Chuparosa!
Jeff Beeman purchased this House in 2006
Why Jeff Beeman chose Abiquiu
I decided I wanted more wide open space and discovered Abiquiu! I bought my Northern New Mexico style Pitched Tin Roof home in Abiquiu, January 2005. I remodeled the North Wing of the home and converted it to a Vacation Rental Casita. My occupancy rate has been 90%-100% each month ever since! I enjoy the company of my Paint Horse "Buster", the 3 mini Sicilian Donkeys 'Shawnee', 'Sunny' and 'Lolita'. (They stand only 3 feet high) and Alpacas Forest and Cooper. In addition to Cardigan Corgi named 'Soloman - a.k.a. 'Sully' and mini Tibetan terrier named Minnie. And precious cats 'Bibi' and 'Chumley'. For those of your with allergies, the Horse, Donkey & Alpaca Barn is located downwind 1000 feet from the Casita. My friendly dogs are only allowed in the common areas if invited by the guests. We are all quiet and keep a very low profile and are around only when you need us. I enjoy meeting the wonderful people that have visited and many that have revisited from all around the country and some from other countries that have stayed at my Casita de Chuparosa here in Abiquiu! I look forward to your stay! Jeff
