This historic home, built in 1889, and partially updated in 2021, features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 5 people. Ideal for families and friends who are seeking the perfect spot for a mountain getaway!

THE SPACE
The welcoming living space is cozy yet refined with unique modern touches as well as a Smart TV and Xfinity cable. For those looking to unplug, a charming reading nook is a great place to unwind and cuddle up with a favorite book. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare any meal, and the dining area and breakfast bar seat up to 6 people.

The front deck is perfect for grilling out with the family, or simply enjoying a warm cup of coffee with views of downtown and the beautiful surrounding mountains. A low garden fence fully wraps around the cute front yard, a wonderful play space for kids and four legged friends!

Each bedroom is comfortably furnished with a queen bed and stylish linens. One bedroom is conveniently located on the main level and the two upstairs bedrooms feature vaulted ceilings for a pleasant, airy feel. A full bathroom is available on both levels with a tub and shower combination downstairs and shower upstairs.

This home has several steps that are necessary to access the front door.

This house is the perfect location - a block from downtown. It is cozy (not large) but it is done very well - lots of extra touches and charm.

Back home to GWS
This little house was our perfect home base while in GWS. We were in town to reunite our parents’ remains. In the past we would stay with them at their home near Sunlight Mountain. Our stay downtown within walking distance of restaurants, the pools, the river, the hiking and biking trails, the parks was a wonderful way to access all GWS has to offer without having to figure out transportation! To be back in the summer after many years was nostalgic as well as a new experience since GWS has so much to offer in the way of shops and restaurants. This home is just big enough for a vacationing. The yard is fenced, so it is easy to keep track of pets and kids. There is a miniature playhouse that is just right for toddlers. The home opens directly to alley in back, which makes it super easy to load and unload luggage, groceries, people, gear. Parking in the evening can be at a premium, but after the restaurants close, it was easy to park within a few car lengths from the home. The kitchen came with coffee and spices to get started. Safeway is less than a mile, so it’s easy to get groceries. There is a gas grill on the porch perfect for grilling steak or trout. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors pleasant and friendly (both renters and residents). While we visited, there was a bear that strolled the alley, but we didn’t get to see him. Keeping food out of the van as well as putting trash in the locking bins is necessary. Keep your eyes open for this.
