About Cathy DiPietro
The Beach Houses have been in our family for a long time. Our parents bought 2158 and then 2144 (right next door) years ago so their five children could have a family beach home to visit. Our families have grown to include thirteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren! Most of them still spend our week in August with the aunts, uncles and of course Gram and Pap! The younger cousins look forward to getting together to build 'sand cities', play mini golf, ride bikes, swim and play board games. The older girls love to walk the beach or go to the Garden City Pier area for ice cream and boys. The 'grown ups' love to golf, play tennis, ride bikes and go out to dinner. The ladies have found some fabulous new shopping areas nearby in the Common Market District and the Coastal Mall. And of course there is the yearly 'back to school' trip to the outlets! We now rent the houses in the summer months and hope you find them well equipped and comfortable. We like to spend some of our time doing little projects around the house--it's not like work when it's for a house at the beach! As we mentioned, we love dining out. Murrell's Inlet is only a few miles south of our home so it's very convenient to great restaurants without the traffic of North Myrtle Beach. Why Cathy DiPietro chose Garden City Beach
2158 is steps across Ocean Blvd to the beach access. This beach is used by fewer families than the Oceanside Village public beach. We use the amenities of Oceanside Village and also find the Surfside area to be more family-oriented than Myrtle Beach itself, while still being convenient to many attractions.
What makes this House unique
The proximity of the house to the beach makes it perfect for taking lunch, bathroom and shade breaks during the day. The key less entry on the house also facilitates this. In addition, our family has a few tennis players, so we love that we can always get a court right in the Village. We've had some pretty serious bocce tournaments, too! We enjoy the closeness to the Conch Cafe for lunch or dinner.
