SUMMARY
Fin & Tonic was newly rebuilt in 2020. The finishes, linens, furnishings are all new with no expense spared. This luxurious, spacious 3 bedroom plus**3 bathroom oceanfront home is 7 steps to a very private and pristine sandy beach and coral reef snorkeling. An idyllic oceanfront getaway featuring beautifully furnished 1500 sq. ft. decks on both the front and oceanside and panoramic water views from the 800 sq. foot Great Room. We are centrally located 1/2 mile south of town which affords privacy but is still just a quick walk or short golf cart ride to the harbor,restaurants and quaint, colonial settlement of Hope Town. Our dock is new and in the private enclave of protected Nigh Creek off the Hope Town Harbor, a 2 minute walk from the house. It is suitable for a 26 ft. boat.

CHRISTMAS/NYE
Fin and Tonic is available from Dec. 21-Dec. 28 and for an additional week Dec.28 to Jan. 4. There is a 11 day minimum if you would like to stay over both Christmas and New Years. We will try to work with you to accommodate your travel plans. THE CANCELLATION PERIOD ENDS 9/1/23 for this holiday period.
*Very large guest rooms have daybeds which each can pull out in to 2 twins/sleeping up to 10.

WHY WE LOVE OUR HOME
Elbow Cay is a friendly and very safe island with 12 miles of waterfront. While all of our tropical island is gorgeous, not all oceanfront properties are beachfront and not all beachfront homes are easily accessible with limited stairs. We are fortunate to live on a walkable and sandy beach accessible from a private, 7 step stairway. Coffee on the beach every morning starts our day and cocktails on the beach or decks are a calm and relaxing way to end the day. Indoors, we enjoy unobstructed, panoramic,180 degree views from the living area, primary bedroom and oceanside guest room. The private dock allows quick access from the harbor to the tranquil and easily navigable Sea of Abaco. Often, lunch is a boat ride to a beach bar or a picnic on a tiny island nearby. Golf carts are the mode of transportation and our home is ideally located for quick trips to groceries, town and oceanfront restaurants. We know we are extremely fortunate to live in Fin & Tonic 6 months of the year and take great joy in sharing it with you during the Spring and Summer months.

DETAILS
The home is totally remodeled/refurbished (2020) and is equipped with central air conditioning, an automatic emergency generator, a chefs kitchen,new stainless steel appliances(including a rare dishwasher), fiber optic wifi internet providing 300 mbps, smart TVs, a water purifier and lots of other extras. Also included are a variety of family games,grill etc. Fin & Tonic is a short beach walk down the beach to a true island bar, On Da Beach.

There is a significant amount of natural light through out and spectacular, panoramic ocean views from the great room, two of the bedrooms and the large deck. You can see the iconic lighthouse from the front deck. Snorkeling is as close as the reef right off the beach in front of the home. Fishing, boating, scuba diving, snorkel excursions and more are available with just a short walk or ride to Hope Town.

The master bedroom has a king bed with an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom #2 has the option of a king or 2 twins plus a twin day bed Bedroom #3 has a king and a twin day bed.

Bikes and golf carts are the primary method of transportation on the island. We recommend you rent a golf cart and/or a boat at the same time you book your stay. Exploring other islands on the tranquil Sea of Abaco is possible via boat rental and will add greatly to your stay.

Renting a golf cart and or boat is HIGHLY recommended at the time of booking. We can send you a list of rental businesses.

Elbow Cay is historically a safe place. We have 3 external security cameras that monitor the driveway and front and back doors. They are not monitored but available for review should you have an issue.
