About Brenda Oldfield
Ralph, my husband, and I love to fish and boat on the Kentucky River as well as enjoy the countryside beauty of our scenic state. Entertaining family and friends with southern style hospitality is very important to us. We love people and want to provide a place for others to experience the beauty of the outdoors and nature.
Brenda Oldfield purchased this Cottage in 2005
Why Brenda Oldfield chose Lexington
We originally looked at this property because we wanted to have access to the river for boating and fishing. Though the house needed to be completely remodeled and the lot was severely over grown with weeds and brush, the view was overwhelmingly beautiful and made all the hard work worth it. We could see so many possibilities for this property.

Nice place on the river
Great experience on the Kentucky River. Loved the access to the water, the hot tub overlooking the river, and the wonderful view. Owner is wonderful and very helpful about what is nearby. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay a lot...such a pretty place to stay. Only thing that would make it better would be 2 bedrooms instead of pull out couch. Melissa the caretaker is very friendly and accommodating. We were able to get in 2 hours early which was great since we came down to a biking trip and we were able to get a good ride in our first day. Kitchen was well stocked and our space was nice and clean.
