About this property

Large Lakefront property with spectacular unobstructed views of Lake Harmony (has been quoted by previous guests as the best on the Lake). Our rustic 4 bedroom, 2.5 Bath home has been updated and is ready for your arrival. Many lovely meals can be prepared and enjoyed on the outdoor deck with access to a Family size Weber Gas Grill. Enjoy a fun-filled day with free access to 3 kayaks, canoe and paddle board (life vests included) from our lakefront dock, as well as horseshoes, cornhole and a sweet Little Tikes turtle sandbox. Water skiing & raft riding are available with the amazing Captain Rob of Lake Harmony Watersports. For those wanting more adventure, many hiking and biking trails, white water rafting and tubing are available in nearby Jim Thorpe. For the little ones, Kalahari & Camelback (less than 30 minutes away) are 2 of the best water parks in the Northeast according to USA Today. Golf is also within 10 minutes at the beautiful Jack Frost National Golf Club or Split Rock Resort. Indoor fun continues with DVD's, board games, foosball, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Arcade Game, puzzles, books and Cable TV. There's six restaurants within 10 minutes and many more within 20 minutes. After a day of fun, spend time relaxing with family and friends around the lakefront fire pit while enjoying the beautiful sunset. Access to property is by private road in front of house. Best time

The stay was excelent. Place was clean and well kept. View was outstanding, specially in the morning. Close to restaurants and store. Bill was very helpfull any questions and information we neened for the stay. Will definitely be there again.

Deer, chipmunk and bear oh my!

Our visit to Lake Harmony was the perfect end of summer family trip for us and our adult children. We stayed for the long Labor Day weekend and enjoyed every moment-wish we could have stayed longer! The cabin is comfy, cute and well stocked with all we needed. Check in and out could not have been easier. We enjoyed sitting by the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding, floating, fishing and enjoying the local wildlife. Deer, chipmunks, bald eagles and even a bear. Please remember to watch wildlife from a safe distance. We had a bear walk down the street in front of the cabin Sunday evening and were able to observe safety from the front deck. The bear seemed used to people but it is still a wild animal. We were dismayed by the amount of people who were closely following the bear in cars, golf carts, bikes and on foot. It would be a shame if the bear had to be put down because people don’t respect it’s personal space. We spent most of our time at the cabin and on the lake but Hawk Falls and Boulder Field are close and worth the drive.

Great Location

This home was an amazing rental. The owner very nice and communicates great with any questions. The property has its own dock with kayakes and canoe kids loved going out on kayakes each day and canoe. We also used the fire pit also right on water by your own private dock. Would definitely rent again !!!

Last minute getaway

Our family of 5 had just gotten back from a beach trip that was a total bust, so we needed a do-over getaway before school started! This lake house was perfect. It is a lakefront property with just a tiny private road to cross to get to a private dock, fire pit and grassy area. Lake is shallow in this particular spot so great for the kids. SUP, kayaks, and canoe (and life jackets) was provided which we got good use out of. Lots of chairs provided around fire pit. The view of the lake from the house is great. The house was very clean (including the grill which was nice). The nice thing about this house was it has a super rustic, cabin-like vibe and decor, but with modern stuff like a dishwasher, washer/ dryer, cool video game for the kids, and multiple TVs. We had our dinners on the deck looking out on the lake. During our 4 night stay we did Kahlahari water park, Boulder Field, Hickory Run waterfalls and trails, huge antique barn, and Jim Thorpe scenic train ride through Lehigh Gorge all were under a 30 minute drive. Host was super responsive, friendly and checked in to see if we needed anything. Great place!
