Available all throughout the year for holiday lets, for short winter breaks and long term winter lets these apartments on the popular complex of La Isla in Javea offer a unique setting with its large tropical gardens offering a profusion of mature trees, flowering shrubs and lawns making it the perfect place for long hours of relaxation in the sun or shade. The lagoon style pool is breathtaking and has bridges and a centre Island. There are 7 Apartments on offer, Two in Block A, Two in Block C, and One in Block G and Two more advertised on 16274 a Two Bed Two Bath Second Floor Apartment in Block M and a large Ground Floor Garden Apartment in Block G giving families and friends the perfect opportunity to holiday together whilst remaining independent. The La Isla Apartments are within a few minutes walk of the 'Arenal' area of Javea which offers beautiful clean sandy beaches, a variety of water sports and a host of amenities such as shops, bars and restaurants.

Javea: The Javea area of the Costa Blanca is best known for its 20 km of unspoiled beauty, excellent 'Blue Flag' beaches and hidden coves. Javea itself is split into three main areas. The 'Arenal' which is within a few minutes stroll from La Isla Apartments offers beautiful sandy beaches, a promenade of shops, bars and restaurants with a small fair for the children in the Summer months with rides, trampolines and go-karts. Javea Port nearby is a traditional fishing Port with a large Marina, intimate cobbled streets, a brightly lit Promenade of restaurants and bars and clean pebbled beaches. The traditional historic Town has white house fronts and cobbled streets, it is a typical 'Spanish Town' relatively unspoilt with a quiet and relaxing ambience, it has many traditional 'Tapas Bars' and a weekly Market. The accommodation comprises of an Entrance Hallway leading to a Sunny Lounge with Dining Area and Patio Doors leading to a good sized Garden facing Terrace which has Patio Table and Chairs for dining Ál Fresco´ and Folding Sun Chairs for use in the Garden. There is a separate well equipped Fitted Kitchen, Two Bedrooms, 1 Double and 1 Twin Bedded each with Built in Wardrobes sharing one Full Bathroom recently refurbished comprising of a Bath with Overhead Shower Sink and WC. The Best Complex In Javea

Myself and my two teenage children have been visiting Javea for 10 years and stayed in many apartments, we found La Isla the best complex we had ever stayed in.

We booked apartment C3 in La Isla because of its beautiful lagoon swimming pool, but was a bit worried if we were going to enjoy our holiday after reading previous reviews. I was also worried that being a larger complex that it might be noisy at night when people return to the apartment late at night.

There were no restrictions, you could use the pool any time. I can see how other holiday makers were confused on the pool opening times as there is a sign in the pool area in Spanish saying that the life guard only operates from 12till 8pm so you swim at your own risk before and after these times ( This sign could be clearer).

The life guard was friendly and we did not see him enforce any rules.

We had no problem leaving the communal block as was never asked to double lock the communal entrance.

It was not noisy at night, we all slept very well.

La Isla is a 5 minute walk from the beach bars and restaurants. I didn't have to drive or go back to pick my teenagers up if they wanted to stay down the beach a bit longer (it is very safe).

The apartment was very clean and bright .It had everything you needed. The foldable pool chairs were great to take down to the pool area . I couldn't think of anything that the apartment was missing.

Jacqui was very friendly and responded to my emails promptly. She met us at the apartment on arrival with a spare set of keys which I requested so my teenagers could have their own set, she also met us on departure to make sure we had a good holiday . My deposit was returned on the date due.

We will be booking for next year, infact I would not stay anywhere else in Javea. I have recommended La Isla to my family and friends.

We couldn't fault the complex ,we had the best holiday ever.

Pool rules let this complex down

We have been taking an annual holiday in Javea for the past 5 years, hiring various apartments and villas and cannot fault the area. This time we wanted to be within close walking distance to the Arenal area so chose the La Isla complex as the complex pictures looked great, we stayed in Apartment A3, 2 bed, 1 bathroom, the location is perfect for walking to amenities.

The apartment itself is on the first floor accessed by stairs via a communal entrance, there is no direct access to the pool from the apartment, you have to exit into the parking area and walk to the main locked reception gates. The apartment is clean, tidy and spacious, the bathroom has recently been re-tiled and the lounge furniture seems quite new. The kitchen is very tired but functional and I would guess the apartment is around 10-15 years old.

There seems to be a paranoia about security within these communal blocks which results in everyone being asked to double lock every door. We found this particularly frustrating and dangerous as it meant you could not leave the communal entrance without your key, despite it not being possible to enter the building from the outside without a key at all times. In the event of a fire this would be very unsafe.

The pool area is beautiful and large but it has many restrictions. In July the pool is only open 12pm-8pm with a reminder that there is a Siesta period between 3 and 5pm. There is a Pool monitor who is very strict. The pool area does not allow inflatables, drinks, food, music or any pool toys for children - straight forward swimming only. Even infant floatation rings are banned and they apply the rules vigorously, routinely walking around the pool to check. You very much get the impression that this is primarily a residential urbanisation and the residents committee make rules to promote a quiet living space for the locals. The late opening and the restrictive nature of the pool meant we spent time at the beach paying €18 per day for sun lounger hire which was a big disappointment for our whole family, especially our 4 year old who was desperate to get into the pool each morning only to be told it was closed.

Overall, good location, well-kept complex but the pool rules spoil it.

Fantastic apartment - would recommend!

The apartment is easy to find and was spacious and clean. A welcome pack including water, wine and crisps was much appreciated! The pool area was amazing! We found the lifeguards very nice and have to say our experience differs from the previous review. We were with 4 boys all under 8 and they were loud, at times very loud, and were constantly jumping in the pool. We usually got to the pool at 11am and this wasn't a problem.

The apartments are a short walk from the beach which has lots of restaurants which are open long into the evening. There is also several lifeguards at the beach who gave out announcements in english if there was a lot of jellyfish. You can hire pedalos, jetskis etc.

We went to a water park, Terra Natura, which is about an hours drive away and a great day out!

This is our 5th year holidaying in Spain and it is definately our best year!!

A Super Apartment

This is a great apartment. It is spacious and was well equipped with everything we needed for holiday. On arrival it was clean and the welcome pack was much appreciated. We found Sandra to be most helpful and was always prompt to reply to emails. The position of the apartment is very good as it is only a short, flat, walk to the sea front where there are many bars and restaurants. Our boys enjoyed going to the bar just around the corner where there is Wifi and a pool table.They were also pleased to find a short cut at the back of the apartments which led to the Go Kart track.

The beach was lovely and very family friendly with slides, climbing frames etc. It is also well supervised by red cross lifeguards. When our son cut his foot they were very helpful and he was taken to hospital in the red cross ambulance.We visited the port and old town which we enjoyed. The buses, however, are very unreliable, so when we visited Denia we went by taxi which proved to be quite reasonable as there were four of us.

The pool area is beautiful and very well maintained. The only down side is that you can't use it until 12.00 o'clock. We also found the pool attendents to enforce the rules rather fanatically. A group of children aged between 7-11(not in our party) were playing in the pool and were told repeatedly to "sshh". Some older children from our party were jumping in the pool, making loud splashes and were told there was to be "no fun until after 5pm!" We have stayed in urbanisations before and understand that many of the rules are what, infact, make them such peaceful, pleasant places to stay in, but we were left a little bewildered by the expectations of La Isla.

However, we all had a great holiday and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment.
