About Joye Byrd
We are retired and enjoy living at the lake. We are Arkansas Razorbacks fans and attend most events. We enjoy spending time on the water and in the woods. We are dog lovers. We have "Brandy", a minature schnauser, and "Buddy", a golden retriver. We have always lived in Arkansas.
Joye Byrd purchased this Cabin in 1983
Why Joye Byrd chose Scranton
This was our favorite fishing and water sports lake. Also, near the forests and ATV trail riding.
What makes this Cabin unique
We moved to the lake when we retired and built a new house nearby and used the cabin for a guest house. We decided to list the cabin as a rental for the enjoyment of others. The decks have beautiful views and are very relaxing or build a fire in the fireplace and enjoy a glass of wine. We can also take a leisurely walk in the woods. This is a quite secluded area within an 1-1/2 hour of Little Rock, Ft. Smith, Hot Springs, Eureka Springs and many points of interest

November family reunion
Fun little weekend get a way!
We had a great weekend with my parents visiting my college son and his roommate. We rode kayaks, fished, played baggo, dominoes, and ended the day cooking steaks on the open fire pit. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!
Felt like family .Good fishing on the boat dock
Perfect for our family
Enjoyed staying at the property. Owners are very nice and accommodating. We fished, went into town and rented a boat for tubing. But we enjoyed being away from it all and enjoying a little slice of peace and quiet.
Quite & Quaint
Very nice & much needed getaway . Charlie & Joye were very nice & helpful .
Thank you! We enjoyed having you stay with us!
Perfect quiet get away
Loved how secluded the property was at the end of the road. Loved sitting out on the private boat dock fishing and using the kayaks to explore the bay. Took a trip over to the Marina in Russellville to rent a boat for the day. They were great to work with and the boats were very affordable. The hosts are very friendly. We enjoyed chatting with them throughout our stay. It was a very nice and relaxing week.
