Location, Location

What a delightful place to stay in a wonderful area. Our host was helpful in many ways, from moving kayaks to the waterfront for us to use and making suggestions on local places to visit, including glorious sunsets over the water at the end of the road. Enjoy Westport and Little Compton for natural beauty, great food and activity options.

westport stay

Felt the pictures and description very fairly described the property. They maximized the place and put some nice amenities inside. They were also very careful with our privacy. Two items which I would provide as constructive feedback would be to add more sound dampening to the deck and rooms above and we were a bit disappointed to not have a view. Would rent again should the opportunity present itself.

We've lived here for 27 years raising 3 children who have all left the nest. I (Steve) am a chiropractor with an office in Westport. I enjoy playing golf, tennis and soccer, I fish a lot and I play the mandolin obsessively. Not well, but obsessively. Lyn is retired. Her passion is golf, which she plays several times a week

Why they chose this property

The view of the river, the sound of the birds, the quiet and darkness at night. The proximity to the beach, golf course and marina.

What makes this property unique

The swans, egrets, herons, ospreys and occasional bald eagle on the river. The songbirds that sing us awake in the morning. The magnificent sunrises over the river which is almost always smooth as glass in the early morning. The fresh fish so abundant and catchable. The delicious clams so abundant and diggable. I could go on and on.
